Logitech Mobile Freedom Bluetooth Headset
Worth the money

I have a Motorola V710. I was searching for a perfect bluetooth headset for my mobile. I have tried one from I/O Gear and one from BodyGlove and both of them sucked. The audio quality was bad and all that. Finally I found this. Now my friends say they can hear me loud and clear. It is really convenient. Only drawback is that if you wear it for too long it hurts because the ear clip is a little too tight. Other than that it is quite good for its price.
Product features:
No additional phone dongle needed to enjoy 10 meters (30 feet) of range. It also works with your Bluetooth-compatible PC. And Bluetooth v1.2 gives you adaptive frequency hopping, quick connect time, and improved audio quality.
WindStop technology enables clear conversations in adverse conditions by reducing the disruptive effects of wind noise, including automobile air conditioners.
Rotating clip conveniently fits either ear, and lightweight soft foam ear pad stays comfortable even after long talk sessions.
Enjoy up to 7 hours of talk time or up to 250 hours of standby time between charges.
Call/answer button on the headset lets you conduct calls without having to pick up the phone. The Logitech Mobile Freedom Headset also supports several features built into many handsets, such as voice dialing, three-way calling, and m

not as good as I expected

I got this phone a year ago, so I know the phone preety well, and one thing that comes out when i look at it, is how much trouble it brought to me. The phone after all is preety good, it has some nice features and most of the time they all work well. It is easy to get some neat wallpapers and ringtones from internet for free if you have the cable, and they are good quality. When i first acquired this phone the secound week the screen and the speakerphone started going bad, so i sendet it to motorola and they fixed it in a week or so. Motorola has good quality service and i was happy that my phone was finally fixed. What i was dissapointed with, was the quality of service from NEXTEL which was atrocious, they could not fix my phone (didnt wanted to) even thou i had the replacementplan. I am still unsatisfied with NEXTEL, there are tons of drop calls and my associates can not reach me because the service is so poor. I will NEVER GO WITH NEXTEL again, even Cingular was better than this. In conclusion NEXTEL SERVICE BAD MOTOROLA OK

Nokia 6230 Cellular Phone (Unlocked)
D.S. is right...

I'd rate it a 4.9 if there were such a thing-
The 6230 is a very versitile phone which DOES support EDGE, GRPS,and GSM frequencies from 850 to 1900.

You'll want to grab a USB cord and at least one good headset because the 6230 supports both MP3 and AAC files -and with the proper headphones the sound is really, really good. You can choose any of your music files as a ring tone or wake-up alarm.

Nokia does not advertise it as being compatible with the HS-3 earbuds set but it is, and they sound great.

Another must-have is a 128 MEG or 256 MEG MMC memory card to give you room to store images and songs.

I also don't much care for the 5-way "joystick" button for the same reason D.S. says, it takes a certain technique to avoid getting the wrong menu, but it's a small complaint contrasted with all the other stuff the phone does right. It looks as if the 6230i may have something easier to use in place of the 5-way "non-joy" stick.

One thing keeping this little dynamo from being a real music player is the ability to play songs in sequence. You have to choose each cut manually or record an entire CD as one long file and then download it into the phone, which is a bit of a hassle.

The telephone sounds as good as a land line with my Cingular GSM service. People have been honestly surprised when I informed them that I was using a cell phone!

I bought the 6230 because of the high marks reviewers have given it for sound quality, and so didn't really expect to use the extra features (like the radio) but I have wound up using almost all of the features, especially the calendar/reminder, web browser, and radio (in my Van Pool commute). Even the little camera has come in handy! The cats don't get spooked by the little phone-camera.

The Nokia PC suite is a full-featured compliment to the 6230 which allows easy back-up for the phone's data and settings and AAC music conversion for simple CD-to-phone downloads. You can play the videos with an updated Real Player on your PC and archive the stills and movies to any PC drive using the optional USB connector or by I.R. or Bluetooth.

You can also configure custom images on your PC using your imaging software then download them to the 6230 as phone "desktop" images or ".GIF screensavers".

The bluetooth-PC link was a big disaster for me, (perhaps because of the aftermarket USB dongle I bought?) but for whatever reason, it was awful, so I quickly went to the Nokia pop-port-USB connector which has been simple and trouble-free.

More than a phone- it's become an important part of my Every Day Carry gear along with wallet, knife and keys.

Product features:
GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz
Digital music player for AAC/MP3 music formats
Support Bluetooth connectivity
Integrated VGA camera
USB and Infrared port

BARELY WORTH THE $125 YOU GET BACK FOR BUYING THIS PHONE

I bought this phone to replace a stolen samsung phone because I couldn't afford another samsung. I can't believe how disappointed I am. This if a poorly made phone. Besides the fact that it's mostly made of plastic, which I'm sure will break the first time it is dropped, the software and menus are horrible. Half the time when you want to change something as simple as a ringer tone it takes a minute or two of "please wait" while it does it. Some of the other reviews listed off a number of the annoying shortcomings of this phone. Some of my favorite are: Very difficult to get to volume control (almost impossible to do during a call), no exterior button to illuminate the exterior screen to check time, poor picture quality, no exterior 'ignore call' button, the phone book is difficult to search through, and the list goes on...
The only reason I gave this phone a 1 star rating is because there isn't a lower rating. If I can offer you any advice it would be to buy a samsung and waste your frustration.

Motorola V551 Phone (Cingular)
No Calling Card Functionality,.... I returned it!!!

I have been a Cingular customer and always liked the coverage. So decided to upgrade with them after my contract got over. I got the V551 after signing an additional 2 year contract (which I always think is not right).

I had a few issues with the phone though.

- NO CALLING CARD functionality. I make a lot of international calls and having this is imperative. All Nokia and SonyErricson phones have that. Its stupid to not have it. This was probably the one thing that made me return it. I could have lived with other issues.

- Battery indicator not accurate: The indicator will easily fool you into thinking the battery is full when its not. In the two weeks that I had the phone the phone went dead on me atleast thrice. I am not saying that it runs out of juice quickly, but if it gave good notice I could have planned for recharging it.

- This is probably because I am used to Nokia... but the menu could have been better.

- THE PHONE IS LOCKED: thanks to Cingular even after signing a contract the phone comes locked. This is just not right!!! I searched some websites and they quote anywhere from 25 - 50 bucks to unlock the phone for you. You have to mail the phone in. This is so not right.

Pros:

- Bluetooth is amazing. I am probably more happy about the technology than the phone it self. This was my first bluetooth phone and it seemed to work fine. I paired it with Motorola HS820 and was happy about it. I did lose the connection a few times though and I don't know if its the phone or the headset. I could hear the other party but they couldn't hear me.

- I haven't tried the PCsync capability but that was one of my requirements and the phone has it. The calendar functionality in the phone though is ok. would rate it on 4 stars.

Hope this helps.

Product features:
Quad-band GSM phone with built-in Bluetooth
Integrated VGA camera with 4x zoom and video capture
MP3 ringtone capable
Features EDGE high-speed data network compatibility
Conference calling and integrated hands-free speaker

I love this phone

I upgraded to this phone from a motorola v120 and I think it was the best thing I ever did. I love the screen on it. For the tiny size of the phone it is a very large screen. I never had games before and now I can download them off siemens.com. Not many ring tones come with the phone but you can download them or record your own. On my old phone the numbers wore off the buttons about once a month but these are nicely made and easy to type in even for my husband with larger fingers. It's so tiny, I loose it in my purse! For the price, I higly recomend this phone!

So bad that words can't do it justice

I know it sounds like I am exaggerating, but I honestly think this phone is the worst purchase I have ever made in my adult life. From day one I had problems with reception, with the volume and with a constant "SIM Card Dislodged" error message. It only got worse over time. The display is essentially impossible to read in sunlight or even interior light brighter than a 60-watt bulb. The photos are awful. I've had the phone barely a year and it has essentially stopped working now. It'll be a cold day in hell before I give Sony Ericcson any more of my money.

PalmOne Treo 600/650 Premium Side Case
more trouble than it's worth

This case looked good and seemed like a good buy until I realized that putting the phone in and out of the case turns the ringer off on the phone. You have to take the phone out of the case to answer it or to use it, so you end up taking the phone in and out of the case constantly. After I missed a few calls, I realized that taking the phone out of the case accidentally turns the ringer off because the case is so snug. Often, I forget to check the ringer and miss calls. Now, I basically don't use this case even though I have had it for less than a month. Buy one of the form-fitted cases instead.

Snap closure keeps your Treo smartphone secure
