PCS Phone Audiovox/Toshiba VM4050 (Sprint)
i love my toshiba vm4050

I had a Samsung before decided to go with Toshiba vm4050, and I'm NOT regretting at all.
Its signal strength is excellent, I think this model had problems but manufacturer has fixed all issues, so if you buy this model make sure its latest release. The phone itself has all standard features, and then some: voice activated dialing, speaker phone, camera and video camera with flash, etc. The best part is the screen - its FANTASTIC, large very sharp - I can easily show pictures on it and all other screens look tiny and fuzzy by comparison.
Battery life is ok, due to the screen power drain, and speaker is not the best. And surprisingly this phone does not get hot after long use. Overall, I definitely would recommend it.

Product features:
VM4050 offers a built-in video and still camera, which can take and send VGA images or 15-second clips
2.2-inch TFT main screen offers an ultra-high-resolution main display (260,000 colors)
Comes with built-in Speakerphone: Hands-free operation of your phone is made easy with the built-in speakerphone
Offers picture caller ID so users can instantly tell who is calling without opening the phone
Features include a built-in speakerphone, voice control and voice guidance, which means the phone talks to users to inform them of important events

This is a cool phone, but def. test one before buying

Yea, there was SUCH a HYPE when this phone came out, so i decided to purchase it. Yeah, it looks sleek and all, but I didn't find it to be too useful - because the interface is not very user-friendly. Plus, there were many bugs in it. many problems with AIM and e-mail and that.

The contacts totally SCREWED up the address on my computer, so I decided to part ways with this phone, and I got the TREO 650 pda phone - that is the BEST thing out there - check it out!
Product features:
BlackBerry 7100t keeps you connected whether you're in the office or not, and it fits perfectly into your lifestyle. And your pocket.
Full-featured quad-band phone - This is one sweet phone, with dedicated send and end keys, speakerphone and integrated Bluetooth
E-mail - BlackBerry's always-on "push" technology sends e-mails from up to ten of your existing Internet or corporate accounts directly to your phone.
Big, bold screen - Read messages and browse the web on the big, bold ultra-high-resolution bright color screen.
Easy typing - The 7100t's innovative keypad is built for speed. Concentrate on what you're saying, not how to type it. The more you type, the faster it gets as the 7100t learns the words you use most.

Nokia 3650 Phone (T-Mobile)
It's big, has issues, but it's still a fun phone...

I have the 3650 with T-Mobile service and although it certainly has some serious shortcomings, it's a really fun phone to have in your (large) pocket when going out with friends. The camera takes fairly decent 640 X 480 photos, but if you want any kind of detail, subject must be within arm's length and you must have a steady hand. I've taken a number of shots and you have to be careful when pressing the shoot button to not press so hard that your hand moves, or you've got a blurry shot.Battery life can vary depending on usage. I've had stretches where I'm not using the phone and the battery's still got a couple of bars left, but the other night I was viewing pictures and the next morning I woke up with a dead phone. On that note, there is a well documented issue on various message boards around the web where a user will go to bed with a fully charged phone and wake up with a dead one. There is a relatively simple fix for this that involves folding up a piece of paper and placing it between the battery and the battery cover. I was skeptical, but it did work for me.The software package that comes with the phone, which is also available on the Nokia website is functional and offers quick transfer of file and contacts if you have Bluetooth. SMS, sending email, and general phone number dialing can be a bit tricky at first because of the non-standard keypad, but it does get a lot easier with some time.Whenever I break this phone out, I invariably get comments about how large it is, but that is perfect for someone like me who is apt to lose items out of my pocket.Overall, this phone is a lot of fun and I haven't had a major problem with T-Mobile, which I did have back when they were Voicestream.
Product features:
Wireless phone with integrated video/digital camera
3.4 MB on board storage, MultiMediaCard expansion slot
Oversized display for MP4 video playback

Great but for a lower price.

i bought this phone when it had first come out for $400 from ATT. The phone looks great(metal body makes it feel, and act strong. if you drop it it will survive.) The phone has a mess load of great features that you can read about from other users, take note, if you want this phone, the volume (on high) is extremely low. while in a small crowd with just some talking theres no way you could hear the person on the other end. When you first buy phone, antenna may be kind of sharp in your pocket. it left a nasty red mark on my leg. my last complaint is that the phone tends to move slowly between menus and when trying to save a picture.

this is a great phone with a few minor faults, i recommend to anyone looking for a fun, but buisness oriented phone.

Motorola i730 Phone (Nextel)
Splendid phone for a cool customer

The i730 by Nextel is one of the first phones Nextel made to be convenient for consumers. The phones new look attracts the younger generation of cell phone users. The phone is not as bulky as the other Nextel phones, which makes this phone easy to fit in your purse or pocket.

This phone contains many attractive features once the phone is flipped open. The color display I think is the best part. For people who like to customize their wallpaper this is the phone to do it. Direct connect is the most common feature among all Nextel phones, and with this phone it is easy to find your friends to two- way. The i730 comes with a phonebook that can store up to six hundred names and numbers.

Some of the programs on this phone include a calculator which comes in handy when you want to calculate a tip at the restaurant. Another program on this would fit those people who love games on their phone, mostly because of the sharp graphics, which are present.

Like every phone there are some glitches. From my own experience the speaker that allows you to hear people talk just stops working. This came to my knowledge just recently when I read the reviews on it that other people were having this same problem. The only other problem with the i730 that I have noticed is the battery life is not as strong as the other Nextel phones, which can be a problem when you are traveling.

Overall this phone is very durable, and will last a long time if taken care of. The features and the looks of the phone definitely make it a must have.

Product features:
The i730 comes with a new 65k color display with enhanced clarity that allows you to customize your screen with downloadable wallpapers, adjustable color palettes, and choice of three font sizes
Hands-free cellular conversations are always available with the built-in speakerphone
Set your phone and instantly connect to the last Direct Connect call or an assigned contact by pressing the PTT button from the main idle screen
Comes with a powerful datebook that allows you to book meetings, plan events, and set alarms that will automatically turn-on the phone if needed
Phone can store up to 600 contact entries - Store up to seven numbers for a single name

Nokia 6820 Phone - Next Generation (AT&T)
Both the Phone and Service very Satisfactory

A few weeks backs back, I ordered this phone along with AT&T service through Amazon. I had done extensive research before deciding on going for this one. I initially wanted a flip phone but did not like any of the Samsungs or Motorola's available.

I was initially debating between the Motorola V600 and this one but finally decided to go for this one for a couple of reasons. I went and looked at the V600 at Frys and it appeared to have a very cheap exterior, especially the keyboard. I wasn't sure if it was durable. Moreover I read that the V600 doesn't come with the necessary cables and/or software which would have to be bought seperately. Though the V600 had some advantages like Quad band GSM, flip style and a nice screen, the cons overweighed the Pro's and I opted for the 6820.
I received this phone a week back and should say that I'm quite impressed. All the features I tested, such as Bluetooth, Infrared, Qwerty keyboard work as advertised. The following are my opinions about this phone:

Pros:
Bluetooth - Works like a charm with my jabra headset. I can turn it on/off on the fly. But beware it drains the battery.
Infrared - Used it to sync the phone book with outlook. Transfer pictures. Edit phone book. Works like a charm.
Software - The phones comes with a lot of free software that I found Very useful.
Reception - Excellent
Qwerty Keyboard- This definitely is what makes this model unique.
Looks much better. Slicker and stylish compared to the 6800. 6800 is like the neandrathal of 6820.
Wealth of other features like Voice activate dialing, EDGE etc.
Customizable Menu's, comes with three different profiles, Normal , Silent and Meeting that you can customize even further.

Neutral:
Speakerphone - Low on volume but still serves the purpose

Cons:
Poor Screen quality - I mean for such a small screen they could have a 65000 pixel resolution. Samsung has a much better screen at a much cheaper price.
Camera - Again I know that this is not supposed to be its strength but I felt the quality of the camera was very disappointing. Why have it in the first place if its useless ?
GSM bands -Not a Quadband phone. What a shame, I can't flaunt it in India.

There were some features on the phone that I wasn't sure about. Once I went through the manual it was very clear. So for users who want to leverage the large range of features that come with this phone, I highly recommend reading the manual.

Coming to the service, I've been very pleasantly surprised by AT&T's prompt response.
FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN SWITCHING TO AT&T FROM ANOTHER CARRIER: Once I received the phone by mail, I contacted AT&T to port my existing T-Mobile number over to AT&T and they did it immediately. The trick is to not activate the number thats assigned to you when you buy the service through Amazon. By the time my phone was charged and I turned it on the transfer was complete and I was good to go. And what to say about the coverage, I always seem to be having a strong signal no matter where I go. No more missed calls and garbled voices on the other end.
So far its been a great experience after switching from Samsung and T-Mobile.
I would like to revise my rating to 5 but its too bad that Amazon doesn't provide that facility.

Flip open phone for full QWERTY keyboard
Use Bluetooth to connect with other wireless devices
Camera built in with 2x digital zoom and video capabilty
Send text messages with MMS & SMS or email using POP3 & IMAP4

B Shah - please refer to your manual - many of your complaints are because you do not know how to use all of your phone's capabilities.
The phone is excellent!!! I have no plans on ever owning another non-bluetooth phone again. The wireless earbud makes life very easy. You can set ringers for different people in your address book. (MP3 ringers!!!) Picture-messaging is simple!!! If you go to a T-Mobile store, you can walk out with your V600 right then and you have 14 days to return or cancel service - if you buy from Amazon, that time is spent in back-order. You will get billed for time that you did not have your cell phone. And if you are doing a port request, be prepared to be without your phone and it's number for as long as it takes for you to get your phone.
Ever hear the phrase - If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is???
Product features:
Colorful customizable external display
VGA camera with 4x digital zoom
Integrated Bluetooth for wireless data connectivity
5 MB internal memory for downloadable applications, ringtones, wallpapers, and photos

I RECENTLY GOT THIS PHONE AS A GIFT FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND I MUST SAY I'M IMPRESSED. I HAVE GONE THROUGH MANY PHONES BEING UNSATISFIED. THE PHONE IS GREAT, LOADED WITH HELPFUL FEATURES. I HAVEN'T COME ACROSS ANY MAJOR DEFECTS YET. HOWEVER, THE PHONE DOES NOT HAVE AN EXTENDABLE ANTENNA AS ADVERTISED. IT JUST HAS AN EXTERNAL ANTENNA. ALSO, AFTER HEAVY USE, THE BUTTONS BEGIN TO CREAK. HOWEVER, FOR EVERYDAY USE, I RECCOMEND THIS PHONE TO ANY CUSTOMER WHO IS LOOKING FOR A GOOD ONE.
Product features:
Large colorful high resolution transflective internal display
External display shows caller ID info
Built in 352x288 still camera with self-timer and brightness option, rotates to face in or out
Two way messaging with EMS or MMS Picture Messaging
Infrared (IR) for connecting to other devices wirelessly
