Run as far away from this phone as possible, and then when you've done that...

RUN SOME MORE! This phone describes terrible. I have very little patience anyways, and this thing drives me bananas! First off, shuts off at the most random of times. "Hey, how's your day goin'? Mine's....(restarting the phone)...Sorry about that my phone is a piece of....(restarting again)...." You get the picture. The battery is decent....it holds a couple days at best. The other problem I have, it makes weird alien gurgling noises from time to time. It sounds like the person on the other end is caught up in a battle with a friggin' creature from another world. And if isn't making those noises, you get lots of crackle. To sum this up, stay away from this phone if you have any sense at all. Just when you thought you found the worst phone ever, here comes that stinkin' Motorola T721....hey, it does make a good frisbee now!

I love this Phone, Just one small issue...

Almost all that needs to be said has already. Let me just say that I love this phone. Of all the cells I've owned, this Sanyo has the best reception, and quality of any of them. Of those were 2 Nokia, and one Keyocera. The only issue I have with it, is in low light situations, (read...night-time...) the number keypad is very low lit, and extremely hard to see. This certianly doesn't take away from the greatness of the phone, just a small irritation during 8 hours of the 24 in a day.
Product features:
Large color screen supports 65,000 colors (120x144 pixels)
Integrated digital camera with 352 x 288 pixel resolution
Phone supports voice-activated dialing and polyphonic ringtones
Supports wireless Internet and text messaging
Includes standard and extended batteries, AC charger, user documentation

so this was my first phone received last summer and since then ive wanted to throw it into the ocean everyday.it constantly husts off while you're talking if you move the phone just slightly.things crack and snap way too easily-ive gone through several faceplates beacuse the phone couldnt even withstand a drop form my bed to my carpeted floor.it has no features whatsoever, its impossible to hear even with the volume all the way up, and just recently it has started fluctuating between headset and test mode (???), allowing me to be unable to make nay sort of phone call.AVOID THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE AT ALL COSTS!!!

Large 5-line screen

Motorola V600 Phone - Next Generation (AT&T)
it's more than bells and whistles

First off, I'm not one for gadgets. the camera is novel and the ring tones are fun (until they become irritating) but this phone isn't geared towards the teen-agers. It's first and foremost a business phone with features and software geared for professionals. If you are in the market for a phone that looks cute so you can show your friends then there are lots of Nokia's and Panasonics to choose from. However, if you are looking for a well-built wireless phone with excellent reception and data capabilities then look no farther than the V600. From it's sturdy metal construction and subdued colors to the bluetooth data transfer answer the cries of mobile professionals looking for a reliable workhorse.
For me the biggest selling point was the quad-band, as I travel extensively and require a phone to work anywhere in any country. So far I haven't found a place where the little V600 requires anything more than a new SIM replacement (usually the mobile carriers sell these at the airports).
A note of caution is in order if you are looking to use different SIM carriers in the U.S.: Usually these phones are locked if bought from a phone company. Even if you can persuade them to unlock the phone it may have been engineered by your phone company without a SIM slot (ala QWEST). Even so, some carriers balk at customers wanting to purchase a SIM for use in another carrier's phone. If the quad-band is of interest to you check with your carrier before purchasing or buy one from Motorola unlocked without carrier specs and branding.
If the so-called "high price" makes you uneasy then remember you can always buy a mega-pixel digital camera and still have enough money left over to pick up a gadget nokia to impress your friends. I'll stick with having a phone that always works.
Product features:
Use the colorful customizable external display to identify specific calling groups and events.
VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, large 65,000 color display supports video playback
Integrated Bluetooth for wireless data connectivity, quad band operation allows use on GSM networks worldwide
5MB internal memory to support downloadable applications, MP3 ringtones, wallpapers, and photo storage
Handset comes with mono earbud, mid-rate charger, and battery

A step down from V66

I used to have both Motorola V66 and V300. Comparing V300 to V66:1. The reception quality (the main feature of the mobile phone for me and I guess for most other users) is about the same. I did not notice any improvement in V300. Turning off the battery save did not increase the performance in areas where the reception was bad.2. The size of the phone (the second most important feature):
V300 is much bigger and heavier that V66. V66 is a winner here.3. Missing bluetooth interface limits the business (synching appointments book) and in-car use of the phone. Motorola decided to save a few bucks and probably lost a lot of customers to Sony-Ericsson T610. T610 is fortunately for Mororola was a bad competitor: the build quality of Sony products is so bad that T610 breaks down within a few hours of use (this was the case with me and many others).4. V300 has a bulk of totally useless features that consume space and power: the useless poor camera, color display, speakerphone??. V66 wins here again.Overall I regret buying V300. V66 was a better product.
If Motorola could add a bluetooth and improve the reception, while reducing the size, I would be a buyer for their next product.
Product features:
Tri-band GSM capability
Large color display features 65,000 colors
Built-in VGA camera with zoom
Supports text messaging and wireless Internet (WAP 2.0)
Comes with 35 ringtones and supports MIDI and MP3 formats

Very happy with this selection

If I had spent about one hundred bucks for this phone I would have been much happier. For the price, this phone could be better. Before I go on, however, let me say this is a good phone. I am able to receive calls in more places, I have fewer dropped calls, and the reception/speaker phone are great. (I realize much of this has to do with AT&T poor service.) Receiving calls without losing them should be expected, even from the "free" phones. But this phone falls short in some places. With my old Nokia, I could lock it by pushing a couple of buttons. The Motorola requires scrolling through the security menu (8 clicks). Why would I have to lock a flip phone, you ask? Because the side buttons that remain exposed when the cover is closed start the voice recording (3 unexpected messages recorded in a week); and scrolls though the ring style (when I hit silent mode I expect the phone stay silent). When pulling it out of my carrier (not included, of course), I've pressed the buttons accidently -- unless the scrolling happened as the phone rested in the carrier -- worse! Speaking of scrolling, the phone book software saves every number separately. So, if you have 3 or 4 or 5 numbers for someone (not unusual these days) be prepared to scroll through all of these to get to the one you need (instead of drilling down to a submenu with only the name listed). Finally, the manual is terrible. Things are difficult to find (I still can't tell if the phone can transfer my phone numbers from my SIM card -- I don't think it can); and there is no diagram explaining what the buttons and other components are (like the rubber plug on the back of the phone that keeps the back cover from closing properly). Also, if you want to transfer numbers to and from the phone (see my SIM card comment above), be prepared to spend another 30 bucks on the synching software. And when you're ordering the software, make sure to order an extra earpiece...the one that comes with the phone is lousy (can you hear me now?...{shouting} I SAID, CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW). Am I happy...yes. Super satisfied? Far from it.

does it's job, but coould be better

It does protect the 6600 cellphone very well. Mine has not received a single scratch in 6 months.

What I don't like is that the corners do not follow the 6600 rounded shape, so makes the phone look evern bulkier. Plus sometimes it answers the call when taking the phone off the pouch (even whith the "any key answers" dissabled).

Leather horizontal pouch.
