No Problems At All

I have not had one problem with my Motorola V600. I upgraded from the Motorola V300 so I could have a phone with Bluetooth technology. My phone works great with absolutely no issues. I only buy Motorola phones, because I think they make the best phones on the market today. As for the menu being difficult to navigate, not true. My 6-year old navigates through my phone with no problems to get to the games and the camera.
Product features:
Colorful customizable external display
VGA camera with 4x digital zoom
Integrated Bluetooth for wireless data connectivity
5 MB internal memory for downloadable applications, ringtones, wallpapers, and photos
Large 65,000-color display with video playback

Astoundingly poor service from Virgin Mobile

Virgin's customer service is so astoundingly bad that I believe they HAVE to market themselves to kids so eager to get a phone - ANY phone, that they will put up with Virgin's constantly malfunctioning computer system.
Virgin doesn't have any 708 area code phone numbers available, so get ready to dial 10 digits for every local call. Get ready to hear, "our system is down right now, you'll have to call back in four hours", or the routine..."I'm not finding any record of your account on my computer"...I love the pay-as-you-go payment plan, and I really wanted to like them, but...
Product features:
No prepaid minutes included. Comes with battery and charger
Seven changeable backlight display colors to match your mood
External Caller ID Display: know who's calling without opening your phone
2-way text messaging, 1-touch and voice dialing
Charger included for powering up

Good value for the money

Its the only bluetooth headset I've used, so I don't have anything to compare it with. Has made my ipaq 6315 much more usable as a phone. Sound quality is good, some people say I sound far away, I'm experimenting with the gain on the ipaq, we'll see if that helps. It was a little tight for me at first (big ears), I was able to bend the part that goes around the ear a little and its much better now. Great battery life.

Would be nice to have an external ringer on it, so I could hear it ringing or vibrate if I were away from the phone. Good range 15-30'.
Product features:
No additional phone dongle needed to enjoy 10 meters (30 feet) of range. It also works with your Bluetooth-compatible PC. And Bluetooth v1.2 gives you adaptive frequency hopping, quick connect time, and improved audio quality.
WindStop technology enables clear conversations in adverse conditions by reducing the disruptive effects of wind noise, including automobile air conditioners.
Rotating clip conveniently fits either ear, and lightweight soft foam ear pad stays comfortable even after long talk sessions.
Enjoy up to 7 hours of talk time or up to 250 hours of standby time between charges.
Call/answer button on the headset lets you conduct calls without having to pick up the phone. The Logitech Mobile Freedom Headset also supports several features built into many handsets, such as voice dialing, three-way calling, and m

good phone, good amazon

The phone lives up to its reputation as stated throughout this review section, so I won't reiterate everything that has been said. I would like to comment on customer service. Amazon had a convoluted order to process with me because I was porting over from att and signing up for a family plan. Although there was a snafu between the order and carrier, both amazon and t-mobile were very responsive and courteous.
Other comments:
- reception by the ballpark in san francisco is fine.
- the ear piece plugs in next to the antenna, remove the rubber plug, duh.
- amazon does have a customer service phone number. search for it on google.
- to sign up for the family plan, buy the phones with any plan offered. When it arrives, t-mobile does a great job at adjusting your account to whatever you desire, e.g. a family plan.
Product features:
Tri-band GSM capability
Large color display features 65,000 colors
Built-in VGA camera with zoom
Supports text messaging and wireless Internet (WAP 2.0)
Comes with 35 ringtones and supports MIDI and MP3 formats

just what i've been waiting for

I don't use the phone much. Signal is sufficient,I'm satisfied, no real complaints. If your a righty the wheel and back button used to dial and hang up are great. I work in a large office space in brooklyn and as long as i get a signal at my desk then I am happy =). The radio frequency software upgrade does help. doesnt work in the bathroom though (loc of b/r center of building. also doesnt work in office elevator for that matter). My G icon behaves very well in brooklyn and manhattan. If you want something simple and are somewhat of a techie then this is for you. Great for AOL fanatics (well 4 chcking email & IMs). I can check all of my emails inc. my job email on outlook via company web client. There is also a secret game (press menu, shift, 8 while viewing Danger Inc. Credits). Other mobil communication devices that do same job like Handspring will run in the $500 and up category. This is great for simple on the go PIM,Email, IM, Txt msg, Web Browsing, and not to mention Picture taking to capture every moment device. In good lighting pictures are decent when viewed on your PC desktop. T-Mobil Customer Service is Excellent. PS PDA screen protectors are great, shop around for one when u first buy and a good headset as well. Also use your holder and wrist strap, you dont wanna drop this device. Not a sleek thin phone so remember that.
Product features:
Important note: It's required that you add the Sidekick Unlimited Data option to your service plan before you check out.
To add the required option, you must add the Sidekick and a service plan, and then on the Accessories page, you need to select the Sidekick Unlimited Data option located under Service Options (this option is located on Step 3 in the checkout process)
The T-Mobile Sidekick is the ultimate communication device
A large color screen that flips open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard makes for quick and easy communication
Stay connected with all your friends with unlimited e-mail, AOL Instant Messenger, Internet browsing, text messaging and mobile snapshots

So Small!!!

Overall, I'm very happy with this phone! I've had it for about 6 weeks now, with no problems. By far the best thing about it is its size. You will not find a smaller phone-- or if you do, it'll cost $200 rather than FREE. I'm a girl, so being able to fit my phone into my front pants pocket has in the past been difficult. No such problems with this phone! The web wriststrap that comes with it makes it even easier to retrieve from my pockets or purse. Reception has been normal-- nothing spectacular but all my calls are basically clear. The menus make sense and are easy to navigate without much trouble. The few games that are included are pretty fun, but the one thing I can't stand about this phone is the ringtones. They're awful. Absolutely terrible. There's even one of a CAT MEOWING. I'm too cheap to buy more, though, so I have my phone set to the generic old-school kitchen telephone ring. It's funny because it sounds really real so everyone gets confused because it's a cell phone, not a regular phone... And one other thing: all phone book entries must include the area code to show up properly in caller ID. I think that's kind of lame.

Anyway, I really have no significant complaints about the phone. It's overall a really good little phone.
Product features:
128 x 160 pixel, 65k color display
GPRS high-speed data and Java downloadable applications

I have this and am SELLING mine...

This phone is awesome, great clear color screen and the joystick button works so easily compared to other phones. The battery life is much longer than what most phones say they are and the reception for a tiny phone is extremely clear. I have to sell my phone though due to location changes and reception does not come in where I am now located for business (i am now with cingular), great phone for at&t customers! I am selling mine though for $70 or best offer including the camera attachment and leather case, a flashing keypad and a clear blue faceplate. Great for teens and young adults instead of wasting your time with those awful futuristic nokia phones out these days!
Product features:
LCD color display supports 256 colors
Polyphonic ringtones
Downloadable games
Phonebook can contain 250 contacts
Includes battery, headset and travel charger

Great phone ... but there is always room for improvement.

This phone replaced my MPX200. I cannot speak for others out there, but my MPX200 broke 3 times in the course of 1 year. Thank god for AT&T's warranty program. Sorry I digress.

Haves:
1. The V505 has far superior receptionto my MPX200. As others have stated, my home was a virtual dead zone for my MPX. THe V505 can place calls everywhere in the house and I was even able to continue a conversation while in a closed elevator.

2. The sound is also much more audible. With the ringer set to loud I can hear the phone ringing even while driving ... well pretty fast on the highway with windows down.

3. This is my first camera phone. I don't have anything to compare to, but the camera can zoom and brighten the image before you take the shot. Seems like a very nice feature.

Have nots:
1. Why the bloody hell is there not an earpiece in the box? I have had 20 phones in my life and even the crappiest first phone I bought had a bloody earpiece. Yes I know that means I should have plenty, but that is besides the point. Boo Motorola.

2. The MPX had a slot to insert a SD memory card. This was fantastic for transfering files and ring tones between my phone and computer. I am aware that the phone is bluetooth enabled, but now I need the $80 bluetooth dongle and software.

3. Perhaps this is on the way, but when did motorola stop making phone covers that aren't just pouches?

As others have already stated. This is really a good phone. The have nots items are just me being somewhat picky. All in a ll a great phone. Only 4 stars because, well I am just not that easy of a grader.
Product features:
Stylish and ultralight VGA (640x480) camera phone with built-in speakerphone
Features Hyptics Vibration and Fun Lights
Java 2.0 capable and voice dialing ready right out of the box

Good phone, except charger

The Good Stuff:
*Awesome Midi Musical Rings
*Functional, Loud Speakerphone
*Nifty, communcatorish Blue Lighting
*Indestructable Construction
*Very Good Service Coverage
*Groovy downloadable java apps
*Large Phonebook
*Two-Way Radio Feature
*User Definable Styles
*Wireless Web SupportThe Not So Good Stuff
*Unable to Download new rings [yet]
*Battery needs to be charged every-other night at minimum
*Slightly larger and heavier than other [non-nextel] phones
*Voice Reco uses limited memory shared with java apps
*Only First Generation Wireless web -- Little or no graphics.I've owned this phoen for three months, and it is without a doubt the best wireless phone I have ever owned. The signal is great most of the time, the reception is clear, the ringtones are funky, and the phone is just fun to use. You can flip it closed with one hand after saying "Two to beam up" so everyone knows that you're a real big dork. You can sit in class surfing the internet or playing one of the included java games, or one you downloaded. Functionally, the phone is a virtual dreamPhysically the phone is larger than most, but that is not especially bad. It is comfortable to talk into, can be carried in a pocket without too much effort [you will realize if you forgot it though] and it feels rugged to use. It is rugged, as I can personally attest to:One day I was doing some work on my car, talking to my freind via direct connect all the while. When I was done, I placed the phone on the roof of my car and forgot about it. I drove away, took a hard corner at about 30, and watched in horror as the phone flew 25 feet through the air slamming into a curb. I picked it up and made a call, and it works just fine. A few scratches to give it charachter, but it works perfectly. If you want a phone thats so small you can hide it between your fingers, look elsewhere. If you want a rugged peice of communications gear that still has a very nice sence of style and a very funky presence: blammo, buy it now.
Product features:
Voice-activated dialing
Speakerphone function for hands-free calling
Includes Java-powered applications
Wireless web enabled
Includes 750mAh lithium-ion battery, travel charger and holster belt clip
