Motorola RAZR V3 Phone (Unlocked) + HS815 Bluetooth Headset
I'm happy

So I spent weeks deciding whether or not to get this phone. The reviews weren't so good about the phone or tiger direct here. But I can honestly say that I am happy with my purchase.

The phone comes with a usb cable, leather holder, earpiece and charger. Yes, the charger is a European charger. BUT it comes with a US snap on so you CAN use it with any American outlet. I wasn't sure and believed what a previous review told me so I paid an extra $20 and ordered a charger from Motorola. That is not necessary, so don't make the same mistake as I did.

As it is pretty obvious, this phone is unlocked. I originally wanted Verizon service, but they told me I needed to use one of their phones or either get a pre-paid phone card. So instead I went with T-Mobile and I am very happy with that decision!

The phone itself is very stylish. When I first got it I was amazed at how thin it really was. The pictures just do not do it justice. I love everything about this phone. Yes, I am a shallow person and mainly bought this phone because of how unbelievably awesome it looks. Yes, I do love the countless comments I get from random people and just pretending to even talk on it just so others can gawk. But this phone truly is a good phone!

I do wish the volume was a bit louder, and it's not the most comfortable against the ear. But these are just minor complaints. The screen inside of the phone is bright and beautiful, the outside screen is pretty good also, though I don't really care for it much. But the keypad is truly the beauty of this phone. It's shiny, it's easy on the fingers and it lights a vibrant blue!

The camera on the phone is very good and easy to use as well. While it's not the best camera there is, it gets the job done. Another little complaint that I have is that it is very easy to get fingerprints and oil on the screen and keypad. But with a quick wipe of your shirt they are gone and back to their beautiful selves!

So if you were like me and very hesitant about getting this phone, let me give you one good piece of advice...GET IT! It's unlocked, you can use it with any service that will give you a SIM card and did I mention the beauty?

Nokia Belt Clip for Nokia 5100, 6100, and 7100 Series Phones
Great clip!

I've been using this clip on my Nokia 6160 for around two years and would not replace it for anything! I'd tried a leather carrying case but found that the clip was centered too low on the phone -- when it was on my waist, I was poked by the antannea. This clip rides high on the phone making it perfect for the belt, or clipped to the inside of my bag. The fact that it is not adhesive, but fits into the case of the phone makes installation easy. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, easy way to access their phone.
Product features:
Clips onto belt or handbag
Scored button adapts to curved surfaces
Quick release
Constructed of durable hard plastic
Compatible with Nokia 5100, 6100, and 7100 series phones

My first LG phone--I made the right choice!

I recently switched from Cellular One to Verizon and I could not be happier with the service or the LG VX6100 phone. The inside screen is bright with vivid colors-one of the biggest screens I've seen on a newer phone, and I've looked at many before deciding on this model. The smaller outside screen is monochrome and lights up and is very easy to read. The keypad is backlit with a vibrant blue, red, and green and can be adjusted in the Settings option to stay on a very short time or for a longer time. I almost went with the Samsung A670 because I liked the color and styling of the phone, but the screen is smaller and I have read some mixed reviews, and..no speakerphone, smaller screen, not trimode, too small keypad). Reception with Verizon's America's Choice service is fantastic! I can get a crystal clear signal in my second floor apartment which I could not with my old Motorola phone. So far I have not dropped one call and had NO line static/distortion when traveling and using this phone or calling from home. The call quality is simply amazing with this phone and Verizon...you will notice the difference if you are unhappy with your current provider. Camera, speaker phone, and navigation buttons and menus are very user-friendly. I am very happy with this phone and highly recommend it to anyone considering an LG phone.
Product features:
Built-in camera with zoom control and 3 resolution adjustments
Compact, attractive clamshell with full-color screen
31 ring tones plus vibrating alert
Voice-activated dialing
Large, 7-line 262K TFT color display

Great Phone, Surprisingly good service from AT&T

I recently lost my T-mobile instrument...a clunky Nokia 3650. As I was not qualified for an instrument rebate on T-mobile and could take my number along with me, I reluctantly moved over to AT&T (After reading poor reviews on their service) and bought this phone.

-AT&T surpassed my expectations and exceeded the A+ service I was getting form T-mobile. My Number was moved over without much trouble at all.

-Great phone..has everything I need and more (I am quite an advanced user)

-Great looking, compact and light. Excellent battery life

One piece of advice which could save you $$$ is, check to see if your company has an agreement with AT&T. Even on personal phones...my company did and I save 14% off my monthly bill with no activation fees.

In all, this phone feels a generation ahead of my Nokia from exactly a year ago..what a difference a year makes. You will not be disappointed!

The Best Cellphone - Period!

After going through three t7221 phones (possibly the worst phone I have ever owned), I finally got a v600 through T-Mobile. I really love the way it looks and how it handles. It feels sturdy and the keypad is very well designed. The "bells and whistles" are nice (mp3 ringtones, high resolution screen), but this is my primary phone; the fact that it is well built is it's most important feature (I've always thought the v60 was the best phone ever; this is definitely it's sexier cousin).
T-Mobile, by the way, has proven to not only be a great carrier, but great at customer service. If you are looking for a great phone and plan, I would definitely suggest getting this through T-Mobile; their coverage (in the Philadelphia area) may not be the best, but they have the most reasonable plans (mine is 3000 anytime minutes for $59.95 a month) and, hands down, the best customer service.
Product features:
Use the colorful customizable external display to identify specific calling groups and events.
VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, large 65,000 color display supports video playback
Integrated Bluetooth for wireless data connectivity, quad band operation allows use on GSM networks worldwide
5MB internal memory to support downloadable applications, MP3 ringtones, wallpapers, and photo storage
Handset comes with mono earbud, mid-rate charger, and battery

Jabra EarSet WindUP with 2.5mm Universal Headset Jack
Microphone at wrong place

I bought this for my wife thinking its WindUP feature is cool and makes it easier to carry the set. It turns out that because of the feature, the microphone has to be placed on the earbud. Very often, the microphone is covered by hair and can not pick soft voices. My wife has to speak loudly when using the headset. It is definitely not for people having long hair. Other than that, it seems working well. So I gave it 3 stars.
Product features:
Sensitive, uni-directional microphone delivers consistent sound no matter how you move
In-line WindUp with built-in clothes clips offers lightweight, tangle-free ease of use
Retractable cord winds compactly to fit in the palm of your hand, a pocket, briefcase or purse
EarGels channel sound into your ear for reception that outdoes your handset
With the 2.5mm Universal Jack, this headset works with most phones (except Nokia phones)

Great Phone. Less than free.

I love this phone. The best feature in my opinion is the neck strap holes, primarily because other phones don't do this. A neck strap is not included though.

I have the t-mobile service and even though it isn't the greatest it doesn't matter because t-nobile lets you roam on any other network for free. So even though I'm a tmobile customer I smile when I see that Cingular/AT&T are improving their network.
Product features:
Large 128x160 pixel 65.000 color screen
MMS for composing messages using images, sounds and text
Supports Java and Mophun platforms for the widest range of mobile games and applications
Supports Bluetooth, infrared and cable for PC synchronization
With a built-in 319 x 288 pixel camera and QuickShare software

Nokia 5180i Prepaid Phone (Tracfone)
Only Slightly Better Than a Calling Card & Payphone

The phone itself is good, appears to be sturdy enough, basic features, but the Tracfone prepaid service leaves much to be desired. For starters, it is nearly impossible to get in touch with a live person, if you need to speak with someone on a customer service issue. Emails are usually returned within 24-48 hours, but sometimes don't even address your original question. My biggest beef is the minutes deducted. When traveling out of one's local area, sometimes a validation code must be entered in order to "prove" you're who you say you are. Tracfone deducts minutes each time, even though the cellular company announcement says "this is a free call." So let's say you are in the NYC area, and want to make a call ... you must first be validated (once per 12-24 hours), which knocks off 2-4 units (1-2 minute call, in roaming mode), THEN you get to make your call. And if for some reason you get a "Your call cannot be placed" message? Forget it -- those minutes are GONE. Keep these things in mind, if you are using this for an emergency phone. I was left walking in this past weekend's blizzard up on Long Island, searching for a payphone, when Tracfone wouldn't come through for me. I'll continue to use them in my local area, as my only cell phone use is to check messages or make important calls, but I'll not make the mistake of depending on them again when traveling.
Product features:
Phone comes with 10 free minutes upon activation, $100 bonus airtime offer, headset, battery, and charger
Simple-to-use navigation buttons and graphical screens
Large 5-line screen
Changeable faceplates allow personalization
Up to 180 minutes of talk time and 200 hours of digital standby time

AT&T and Sprint...waste of time

I've had this phone since November, and been very happy with it overall. For me, the main advantages of the phone are its very small size and the very hefty battery life. I feel like I really do get several hours of actual talk time before needing to charge. I've been happy with the quality, although that has a lot to do with the carrier, as well. The rings are generally loud enough to be heard under most circumstances, and the vibrate is strong enough that I can feel it even when I'm carrying the phone in a waist pouch. That said, I'll reiterate things such as you can't read the screen AT ALL in sunlight. And the UI design is a bit odd. It takes a lot of effort to do simple things like turn off the alarm clock before its gone off. You can't program any quick dial buttons which is annoying since I only call about three different people on a regular basis. And it does not go into lock mode if you leave one of the menus up (in fact, it leaves the screen fully powered indefinitely), or you get into M-mode (another feature you aren't allowed to de-program. I've NEVER used MMode, but I get charged a dollar or so a month from the times I've accidentally gone into it because the joystick moves that direction when the phone is in my pocket before it auto-locked.)The camera is not a good reason to get this phone. It's not useful for anything other than the fun factor, although I do enjoy being able to assign pictures to people when they call.If you can get this phone on a cheap we'll reimburse you for the cost of the phone if you sign up plan, go for it. For me battery life was one of the most important things, and I feel this phone shines in that department.
