T-Mobile Color Sidekick Phone (T-Mobile)
I love my Sidekick!

I bought a Sidekick in December and it is AWESOME! I love all of it's features. I always dreamed of having a wireless device like this for so long. Everytime that I looked up wireless stuff, it would scare me to see the prices! When I saw this and the Unlimited Data plan was so cheap, I knew I had to have it! It's great for people who are on the computer a lot at their houses for internet reasons. The AIM feature took about 3 minutes for me to get used to. The E-Mail program couldn't be any easier to use. The internet was a little bit tricky..I didn't know how to visit websites. Then I went back to my manual and it said to just start typing. I couldn't believe it! I was surfing the web wirelessly! I don't think I could live without my sidekick today. I love how I never miss an IM. The battery life is unbelievable! I take my phone with me in the day, and at night I let it charge. It's so easy to use. I think everyone should have a T-Mobile Sidekick.
Product features:
Important note: It's required that you add the Sidekick Unlimited Data option to your service plan before you check out.
To add the required option, you must add the Sidekick and a service plan, and then on the Accessories page, you need to select the Sidekick Unlimited Data option located under Service Options (this option is located on Step 3 in the checkout process)
The T-Mobile Sidekick is the ultimate communication device
A large color screen that flips open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard makes for quick and easy communication
Stay connected with all your friends with unlimited e-mail, AOL Instant Messenger, Internet browsing, text messaging and mobile snapshots

Body Glove Prism Case for Nokia 3300 Series Phones, Transparent
Be a Showoff

I've always wondered why people spend lots of money on faceplates for their phones, only to hide them with a leather case. Body Glove's Prism Cases allows you to better show off your inner you, or at least, your outer phone. This case is solidly constructed. High grade, heavy clear vinyl is used throughout. A rugged, continous seam holds the case together in back. A positive snap button flap on top secures your phone in place. A solid metal clip comfortably holds your phone to your belt. The front and sides are seamless, (unlike many cheaper clear cases) so all the outside world sees is your snappy looking phone beneath a slick, glossy vinyl sheen. What's more, your phone won't get scratched up nearly as easily, so you'll always have that "new faceplate look". This cover does change the feel of the phone. The vinyl, unlike the plastic shell of the phone, is quite grippy, and you'll find that you drop your phone less often. If you do, the vinyl will protect your from most scratches, just not the impact itself. Well placed holes expose the microphone, speaker, headset, and recharging jacks, so you'll have no problems there. The screen is plainly visible, and all your buttons are accessible, including the power button at the top. As with all protective cases, leather, or otherwise, the clear vinyl does take away the feel of the buttons, so it's harder to operate the phone by touch. Also, those with sweaty ears or hands may want to get a more absorbent leather case instead. And no case made today is compatible with the desktop charging stand--you'll have to take the phone out before you dock it. Taking the phone in and out of the case is difficult at first, but gets easier with just a few tries.Despite these issues, it's a beautiful case for your beautiful phone. If you've spent the money to make your phone look nice, this Body Glove is worth the price. No other case will enhance the look of your phone better.
Product features:
State-of-the-art translucent plastic
Slim and stylish
Protects phone from scratches, moisture
Fits standard and extended batteries
Compatible with Nokia 3300 series phones

Long Term Review

I have owned this phone for about a year now. This is my long term review of the Sony T610.

The Good
---------

- Quality Materials Used in Casing
- Bright, Clear Display
- Menu is Easy to Navigate
- Clear Tones
- Blue Tooth Capability
- Crisp Audio
- Easy to Use

The Not So Good
----------------

- Buggy Software
- Phone Shuts Down Randomly
- Slow Power Up
- Phone freezes
- Average Reception

Bottom Line
-----------

Do not recommend phone due to the software problems. Plan to replace the phone soon.

The software issue is not unique to my phone. My colleague owns the same phone and has similar problems. Problems occur more frequently as the phone ages.

Motorola HS820 Bluetooth Headset - Teal
Couldn't be better

I ordered the 820 instead of the 810 because I didn't like the 810's extendable microphone -- too easy to break off. Set up of the 820 couldn't possibly have been easier. Within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box, I was up and running. I easily reversed the ear hook so I could wear it on my left ear (documented in the manual), paired it with my v505 (effortless), and read through the well-written manual to understand how to use the buttons and beep tones. Piece of cake. And the unit works great - volume level is more than adequate, and the range is as advertised (about 10' from the phone - bluetooth standard).
Product features:
Simply turn the headset on, place it on your ear and a Bluetooth® link is automatically established
The multifunction button allows you to place, receive or end calls, all with the push of a button!
With Bluetooth wireless technology, devices work together even up to 10 meters (30 feet) away.
The overall compact size and lightweight (less than 20g) allows for easy storage when not in use
Lengthy talk and standby times include up to 6 hours of talk time or 100 hours of standby time from a single full charge

Great phone...not so great service...

I purchased the 8100 only because I lost my LG phone which worked well for me in the time I owned it. The 8100 has all these extras that come in handy. The problem is the lousy customer service and the large percentage of incompetant people that you have to deal with. I feel sorry for anyone who has to call them for technical support. If your phone works fine and you never have to deal with them, then count your blessings.
Product features:
Large color screen supports 65,000 colors (120x144 pixels)
Integrated digital camera with 352 x 288 pixel resolution
Phone supports voice-activated dialing and polyphonic ringtones
Supports wireless Internet and text messaging
Includes standard and extended batteries, AC charger, user documentation

PCS Phone Samsung VI660 (Sprint)
Well rounded design, nice UI but only with OK reception

-
I have been a SprintPCS customer for 5 years. Just like many other Sprint customers, I felt Sprint's coverage is poor but the fact that I enrolled early gave me a very good plan. Therefore, what I did in the past 5 years was to consistently scanning for good phones to tackle the poor signal coverage in the area I live. I've been through Qualcomm QCP-2760, Samsung 8500, Sanyo 4900 and now Samsung VI660. The old Qualcomm had a decent reception in its days but couldn't compare with Samsung 8500. The 8500 was a legendary phone that was solidly designed and built. However, there's more to be desired in terms of its reception. After an extensive research, I bought my wife a Sanyo 4900 when she started her plan. I found its battery life and reception was very good but Sanyo 4900's downside was its bulky design and clumsy menu.Due to the consistent drop of calls when using Samsung 8500 at home, I was in the market again hunting for the next generation of cell phones that are reasonably priced but have the best reception. Sanyo has been regularly regarded as having excellent reception and battery life, which I could surely testify due to my ownership of the 4900. But I have to say I'm kind of fond of Samsung and its design due to my good experience with the 8500. The past couple years marked a down period for Samsung though. After 8500, Samsung released many new phones that were viewed as having miserable reception. However, most recently, it seemed like things have changed. VI660 and VGA1000 received new chips and many good reviews come in from their users. After comparing price and features, I opted for the VI660. I couldn't be happier with its name dial capability. It doesn't need any "training" and can recognize names very accurately. It certainly makes your driving much safer, too. If you use Samsung's earphone, all you need to do to dial a number is all "talk", after you press a button on the earphone cord to intiate the name dial procedures. The maneuver within its menu is very intuitive and the battery life is decent. In addition, VI660 was among the limited number of phones that support SMS. Even though I don't use it that often, it's still a nice feature to have. Maybe I'm not really picky about battery life but recharging once every two days with many phone calls and some web usage doesn't sound too bad to me.However, the reception of Samsung VI660 is still not to my expectation. It is certainly better than the 8500 and offers a more "unbroken" conversation but I still suffer from dropping call which is less likely to happen to the Sanyo 4900. After so many attempts in keeping my plan by buying new phones, I am considering switching to Verizon even with the nice SprintPCS plan that I currently have. But if you are not living in an area that has poor signal coverage and you don't need a camera or external display, VI660 is truly an economic, feature packed and compact phone for you to have.

Excellent phone feature for dollar

I should have paid better attention to the negative reviews for this phone. This phone has two major flaws. (1) Unless you place the phone over your ear in the exact spot, you can't hear the other person speaking..(2) Voices come over garbled and smashed. I am 'constantly' saying, "what? pardon me? I can't make out what you're saying!" What a waste of [money] (...) Don't waste another moment of your life looking at this phone. It will be discontinued like all the rest very soon! GUARANTEED!

i like it

it is true that this phone has a limited selection of ringtones and all of them do suck, but none the less i dont care. other thant that the phone is so small it falls out of your hands, i like that because it takes up no space in my pockets, and the battery life is great(maybe because it's still new). the greatest thing is i can check the news and my stock quotes whenever i want, its brilliant i think, and thank god it doesnt have a camera, i still fail to see the point of camera phones. overall, i certainly would recommend it to anyone who like a practical and non-flashy and reasonable phone.
Product features:
Samsung X427 is notable for its thin profile, light weight, and large, bright color display
Includes GPRS high-speed data and Java downloadable applications
Features 40-chord polyphonic ringtones

Supports wireless Internet and text messaging

Nokia 6200 Phone - Next Generation (AT&T)
Finally a phone that wont Drop my lame AT&T signal

After coming so close to switching carriers, the Nokia 6200 saved the AT&T 2 year contact i purchased. My phone search included the LG 4015, Siemens S46 (great phone poor features), Nokia 3100, and Nokia 3595 (all free phones). Well, the saying you get what you pay for couldn't be more true, as the 6200 is the only phone that did not drop a signal. The reception is excellent and that was the most important feature to me.
