If you are getting t-mobile, get this phone!

I just purchased this phone here in CO and am very happy with it. The most important thing is that it actually does it's job...as a PHONE. Sure it has cool stuff, but the reception is great, no dropped calls, and everyone hears everyone nice and clearly. My only quip is that the phone was packaged with the wrong battery, preventing me from putting the cover on. How many times does that happen??
Product features:
Tri-band GSM capability
Large color display features 65,000 colors
Built-in VGA camera with zoom
Supports text messaging and wireless Internet (WAP 2.0)
Comes with 35 ringtones and supports MIDI and MP3 formats

Nokia 6610 Phone (T-Mobile)
A nice phone with poor sound quality

The phone has some good features and is very nice to play with. But unfortunately, the sound is not good. I had the same experience as the customer who posted on 7/29/03. When making calls, there's this hissing sound at the background, very disturbing. Same problem with the speaker. Also, I had to adjust the volumn to the loudest in order to hear it at a normal level.
Not sure why so many people give it five stars. Maybe I'm just unlucky to get a bad phone. I've returned it.
Product features:
New color screen with the "classic" Nokia 6000 series style
Mobile Internet capability
Includes polyphonic ringtones, speakerphone, and an integrated stereo FM radio
Phone book capacity for 300 contacts
Receive messages with image, sound, and text

Beautiful Piece of furniture

Functionality wise this phone is too old. Even old nokia's had better phonebook and organized features. There are several good features of this phone.
1. Camera lens and quality are simply the best.
2. 265k colors makes ur eyes feel very comfy.
3. Awesome design

cons:
1. list view only. icons are not available.
2. no speakerphone
3. no bluetooth
4. hard to sync with laptops and other handhelds

this phone is for those who like to take pictures and talk. This is not for those who require high end functionalities like bluetooth. Overall it is a nice piece as a furniture. I have moto v600, nokia 3650 and this one. however, moto is the best of all then nokia 3650(it is bulky but is also loaded with lots of features that are far better than samsung) and than this phone.
Product features:
900/1900 GSM network capability
Swivel VGA (640x480) camera and video recorder
Large, high-resolution TFT display with 262K colors
Supports POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP-based email clients
Includes phone and travel charger

Nice little phone

I had been waiting for this phone to come out because most of the camera phones on the market are either too heavy or big, even though they have very good features. This phone has almost all features as the other ones and it almost as light as the 'non-camera' one (E105). i can't feel it at all after i put it in my jeans pocket.

It's been working nicely since I got it and I was surprised by all the bad reviews shown here on amazon. the last person talked about how difficult it is to add a number to an already existing entry. I just did that this morning without looking at the phone manual and i had no problem at all. (And also I dont really have too much experience on different cell phones and therefore adding new entries shouldn't be a problem for most of the people.)

Besides the light weight and tiny size, it also has a camera that can take both pictures and videos (of course with not very high quality) but for the money i spent i think the camera works pretty good. (it's just some cool stuff coming with the phone for you to play with, if you want to take great picture you might as well get a digital camera, right?) one bad thing about the camera is that the shutter sound cannot be turned off. (i read through the manual and i could not find a way to disable it so i assume it can't be done. please let me know if any of you can turn it off)

either as a cell phone or something that you could play around while connecting with your friends at the same time, samsung E315 does a great job. it surely worths the price and can definitely complete its tasks.

(by the way the service light is very cute)

Poor Reception

I recently bought the Cellphone through Amazon and Iam planning to exchange with another brand. The phone does not automatically picks up the signal when you hit the Signal Area from a No signal Area, you are forced to search for the signal through the browse for the signal option. The Phone reception is poor. I compared the reception with the same service provider but a different brand of phone , i found the other phone picked up the signal and Sony ericcson did not.
Product features:
The T226 showcases a large color display
Supports multimedia messaging, e-mail, and Internet browsing (WAP 2.0)
Features polyphonic ring tones and the ability to download games from the web
Comes with three games - Ace of Spades, Deep Abyss, Five Stone
Included with phone is a Battery, Standard Charger, and Headset

take it from a verizon wireless employee..get this phone!

Let's just say that after working at Verizon for a while, that I have come to realize that their phones are pretty shoddy compared to Sprint's. While Sprint's total coverage area of america isn't as good as Verizon's, we're here to talk about phones rather than service (although i could argue for Sprint's superiority)...So after going Sprint, I saw this phone and saw the price. At first I thought I was seeing things, because a feature-equivalent Verizon Wireless phone would sell for easily one hundred more dollars. Well, after the initial shock, I did some research on this little phone, and after purchasing it, verified some things...Incredible battery life (advertised as 3.5 hours talk time, 12 DAYS standby); although I haven't tested these numbers, I've had this puppy on for a long time and have yet to go under two out of three bars of battery life!Compact and lightweight...It's a LITTLE smaller than most phones I've encountered, yet the buttons are not too close together at all for someone with big fingers, nor is the screen too small for people who cannot see well. Nice looking to boot! Definitely the nicest looking phone I've seen in a while (only one that maybe compares is the LG VX6000). It's sleek, and the blue looks really sharp both up close and far away. Now onto the best parts...The features!Ready link...Not that I use it, but it's great to have such a thing included if I ever decide to go ready link.Speakerphone! One of the nicest features about the phone, the speakerphone is VERY loud compared to other phones I have used, and as far as I've been told, I sound pretty decent from my end. Camera...Has a flash, zoom capabilities, the ability to send picture mail, link a photo to a caller ID (so you see the photo when a particular person calls), etc etc. It's got all the camera features you'll ever need! Quality of sound...I don't know what other reviewers are talking about, because whether I'm using my plantronics headset, using the speakerphone, or just talking normally, everyone sounds crystal clear! Very rarely will you get some distortion in the way the person sounds, but that may just be a result of the service and not the phone itself. In fact, I would say that is likely.Key layout...I couldn't rate this high enough! The speakerphone has a dedicated key, as does the camera. The buttons are all spaced out nicely and are big enough for those with big fingers. In terms of layout, this baby trumps all of the verizon phones I've ever used.Menu layout...Superb! Everything is easy to get to, and the most commonly used menu items (settings, downloads, messaging, and contacts) have one button shortcuts built into the phone! The menu itself is really nicely put together, with every setting put in the logical place (unlike many phones i've used, unfortunately). What complaints do I have about the phone?Sometimes the button on the side that's used to answer the phone is a little annoying. Why? Because if you just press it quickly, it'll mute the ring (which is a nice feature). But if you press it quickly, because you're not used to it yet, you'll be sitting there struggling to answer the phone. It's just something that needs some getting used to. I guess the only other thing I could possibly be disappointed about is that you can't have the date and your personalized 10ish-character greeting display on top of your custom background. You'll still see the time, battery life, service, etc, but not those two things. Why????? It should at least be an option to turn on/off.So..to summarize...It's the nicest/most reliable/most fun phone i've owned, scoring high in every category. Battery life A+, features A+, layout A+, aesthetics A+, sound quality A (would be a + if I could verify the distortion I SOMETIMES experience is a result of sprint, not the phone). Oh and one last thing: Unlike most phones you'll buy today, this one doesn't actually seem fragile; it has a very durable feel to it.To be cliched, go get this phone now!

Feature-packed with VGA camera and flash, speakerphone, and dual displays

Great phone, but buy it elsewhere

I love, love, love this phone. I've only been with Cingular for a week but its service in Alabama is above par in m opinion. I just left T-mobile after a year and a crappy phone (SE T300). To me, Cingular and T-Mobile are pretty close as far as service goes, but Cingular goes a step above with free mobile to mobile and rollover minutes. Now on to the phone:Pros:
Comfortable to hold (Not to big, but not to small)
Beautiful large display (65000+ colors)
Loud MP3/Midi Ringtones
Fast Web Access
Downloadable Games
Decent Camera w/ easy access!
Clear External Display
SPEAKERPHONE!!
Reasonable price (Free!) for such features
Subdued (though beautiful) lookLike all phones, there are a couple of things that stand for improvment: --comes with few ringtones (4 MP3, and a handful of basic polyphonic tones)
--the battery doesnt last too long (after extensive use, lasted for 1 day)
--polyphonic rings a little on the soft side
--speakerphone can only be activated after a call is connected.Overall I'm very happy with this phone, and with the ability to take pictures that are actually viewable on the screen, download new MP3 tones, games, and wallpaper, its the almost perfect phone for me. If you don't need bluetooth (MOTO V600) then GET THIS PHONE! :) It's awesome!Actual Rating: 4.45 stars
Product features:
Tri-band GSM phone is notable for its high-resolution display, VGA camera, and MP3 ringtones
Camera features 5MB of memory, self-timer, saves images for Picture Caller id
Large 65,000 color primary display for Internet browsing, game playing (Prince of Persia included)
External caller id display for call screening, phone book with 1000 entry capacity
Ringtone support MIDI and MP3 formats, as well as built-in MotoMixer ringtone composer

Better than Treo 600 and LESS expensive

This is a great PDA/phone device. I had a Treo 600 that was replaced three times due to failure of the earpiece and other hardware problems. The speakerphone is better than the Treo 600. Bluetooth is great. Look for a hack on the Web to use the USB cord to connect this as a wireless modem to your laptop as Bluetooth is locked to the headset use only. BLUETOOTH is too cool.

I have a Samsung i500 which is great but locked to Sprint's CDMA service. The i500 is more reliable than the Treo 600 and more versatile than the Blackberry as it has Palm apps which can be purchased or are free. However, the easier predictive text entry fo the Blackberry 7100t makes it easy to type and send email. The integration with SMS is something the Blackberry has without an additional program for the Treo 600 or Samsung i500, as well as IM for Yahoo and AIM AOL.

Will keep the Samsung i500 for its strengths and Blackberry for its strengths and quadband coverage. Samsung i500 has analog service which is much needed for rural US travel.

So, get a Blackberry 7100t and if you need analog, a used Samsung i500 on ebay.

I wish that TMobile had the Treo 650 but its incompatabity with Treo 600 programs, as well as an unlocked Treo for international travel.
Product features:
BlackBerry 7100t keeps you connected whether you're in the office or not, and it fits perfectly into your lifestyle. And your pocket.
Full-featured quad-band phone - This is one sweet phone, with dedicated send and end keys, speakerphone and integrated Bluetooth
E-mail - BlackBerry's always-on "push" technology sends e-mails from up to ten of your existing Internet or corporate accounts directly to your phone.
Big, bold screen - Read messages and browse the web on the big, bold ultra-high-resolution bright color screen.
Easy typing - The 7100t's innovative keypad is built for speed. Concentrate on what you're saying, not how to type it. The more you type, the faster it gets as the 7100t learns the words you use most.

Pretty Good Phone

This phone is an awesome deal! The price isnt too high, and there are a lot of neat options for backlight colors, pictures, etc. Its perfect for teenagers because it is small, convenient...and prepaid. The only problem was setting it up how I wanted it. The phone itself is wonderful, but some of the directions in the manual do not work like they say they should, which can get frustrating. Overall though, this phone is a great find!
Product features:
No prepaid minutes included. Comes with battery and charger
Seven changeable backlight display colors to match your mood
External Caller ID Display: know who's calling without opening your phone
2-way text messaging, 1-touch and voice dialing
Charger included for powering up
