Ideal Bluetooth Headset - Great for Treo650

It all started with a delay in delivery. Got it 4 weeks after I ordered it. Once I got it an accessory was missing - silicone cap for speaker which I'm not needing at that time.
It pairs very easily with my Treo 650 and has a great sound which was the most important for me.

PRO
- Light weight
- Price competitve (Only 2 others of this quality/performance have lower price but less features)
- Great sound (=loud)
- Wind resistant microphone (works well outside, although still staticky sometimes)
- Long battery life

CON
- Fit on ear could be tighter (that's how I perfer them)
- More weight wouldn't have bothered me and could have made me feel like I know it's on my ear!
Additional comment:
- Don't know yet how reliable it will be after some month. Although so far so good.
Product features:
Talk time - up to 9 hours per charge / Standby time - up to one week
Charging time - 2-4 hours
Weight - 16.7gr / 0.58 oz - less than 1 ounce
VersaClip attachment option for ear-loop and eye/sunglasses clip
Headset and Hands-free profiles

Terrible phone in NYC

This is a terrible phone in NYC (Manhattan) with AT&T service. I'm very sorry I didn't return it in the 30-day period, as my signal strength is awful nearly everywhere, and I'm unable to use it in some rooms of my apartment. I never had that problem with Sprint or T-Mobile.
Product features:
The T616 features a high-resolution screen with 65,536 colors
Comes with MMS, which allows you to compose your messages using images, sounds and text
Supports the Java and Mophun platforms, making the widest range of mobile games and applications available for you to download
Supporting Bluetooth, infrared and cable, the T616 is fully compatible with any computer. Your phone books and calendars will stay synchronized and updated
With a built-in camera and QuickShare software, you take pictures and store them on your computer or send them to friends all in a few simple steps

don't buy this phone

ok, i bought this phone in may and i already hate it. The reception is good but thats about it. The menus on this phone are very confusing and it only comes with one wallpaper:flowers. Now i am a boy and i dont want flowers on my phone.I dont like how it is so hard to open either, and its really ugly. The Keys are poorly backlit and pre-loaeded ringtones sound like they were made for old people. And the music ringtones sound awful and they are distorted. I am going with t-mobile and thier motorola v300 as soon as i get my money back for this peice.
Product features:

Could Not Get Service For Phone

I thought, like previous reviewers, this would be *the* phone because of its integration of the features I was looking for. But, as already noted, it falls short:
* it does not come with a PC Suite to synch
* the keypad is not backlit which has proved more frustrating than I would have thought
* unfortunately, 64MB isn't quite enough for me (128 would be much better) for use as an MP3 player
* the headset keeps disconnecting when I put the phone in my pocketWhat I've really enjoyed (and certainly can be had with other phones as well):
* the keyboard is key to using the phone as an organizer and I found it easy to get used to
* the headset helps when making calls in noisy environments--both ears are participating
* the voice tags are reliable--hold the button on the headset and say your contact's name (or tell the phone to start the mp3 player, e.g.) and voila, it happens...Haven't once had it not recognize my voice tag.As for the extra long cords and the mic hanging real low--the secret (and this was NOT obvious to me) is to open the oblong plastic piece between the mic and the ear buds and re-close it behind your neck...It brings the mic to where it should be, takes the weight off of the ear buds and allows you to take the ear buds out of your ears and have them hang conveniently close by for when you want to put them back in. It actually works very well.
Product features:
Highly functional phone comes with a FM stereo radio and digital music player/recorder that supports MP3's
Features a music key which lets you access your music at the touch of a button
Comes with a full keyboard to make messaging quick and easy
Large color display supports 4,096 colors
Supports E-mail and Internet browsing

Matt

Great phone - one major proble. Caller ID does not work if you have more than 200 phone numbers (not contacts, phone numbers). The phone cannot process a match between the incoming phone number and the stored phone directory quickly enough, and it goes into voicemal on the 4th ring - before it matches. I spoke with Motorola on this issues - they acknowledge the problem and blame Microsoft. Say is "may" be fixed in teh mpx220
Product features:
The Motorola MPx200 Smartphone does it all by combining all the functionality you need into a single, pocket-size package
Windows Mobile software brings the familiar Windows experience to the palm of your hand
You can synchronize everything with your desktop PC -- automatically -- with a USB connection, or over the air
Functionality allows you to download music, games, video clips, and ring tones
Watch videos, news clips, and film trailers anywhere you go

Nice phone for a techie, but coverage not so good

Though, I really have good credit, T-Mobile declined my orders due to credit issues. My credit score is 700+. I called them up and they said I need higher credit to qualify for this offer. However, you can order the same phone/service from T-mobile website or anyother dealer but not amazon.com. How stupid is that? I qualify for one and not for others.I am very disappointed with the fact the Amazon doesn't mention this anywhere in this offer.Just beware before jumping in for this one...

LOVE IT

That answer would be no. However it is not a bad phone. Most people bring up the good first I will bring up the bad first, I think it helps you to decide faster and better.
The bad:
1. Palm OS meaning alot of stuff you need 3rd party software to run. And those 3rd party software is very expensive.
2. VGA camera that only works outside in bright light with all this limitations why even have it? If you want to buy camera phone this is not for you.
3. No decent case to hold it, looks like the case that came with the phone is the best out there.
4. If you are reading this review you already know how expensive this sucker is.
5. Speakers sucks it will stop working on you.
6. MP3 player software is good but you have to buy a "special adaptor" so you can use that MP3 function. The Good:
1. Sprint's Business Connection offer is very good, you install software on your computer and leave the computer on. When you need to retrieve something (business email, files, applications) you can link up to the computer and download it.
2. The screen is very bright, easy to see and use.
3. Contact search is fast, hit a letter and it will jump to the contact start with that letter.
4. Though the keypad is inconveniently small, it is still usable. I would not dial out of my phone with the keypad I would just bring up the dialing key on the touch screen.
5. The speaker phone is very convenient.
Product features:
Treo 600 combines a full-featured mobile phone and Palm OS organizer with wireless applications like email, text messaging, web browsing and even a digital camera
QWERTY keyboard makes entering text and accessing information fast and familiar-perfect for messaging and a must have for email
Built-in color web browser, Blazer, gives you fast access to nearly all the sites on the web-not just the ones optimized for mobile devices
Take a picture or share images with others via email-you can even attach a photo to a phone number so you can see exactly who's calling with Picture Caller ID
Because Treo 600 runs the popular Palm OS, there are thousands of applications you can download and use-like MP3 players, etc.

LG VX3200 Phone (Verizon Wireless)
Great little flip phone

I've had my Motorola V60 for a couple of years now and wanted to move up to a better plan and better phone. I was with T-Mobile all of this time and wanted to see if they had a good deal for a loyal customer like me. "Sure", they said. "You can *buy* a new phone for about $120". "But I've been a customer for so long, don't you have any specials for us?" "No," they said. "Sorry." I said adios amigos and started my search.

I wallked the malls for three hours doing comparative shopping for phones and plans and decided upon Verizon for the service and the LG VX3200 for my phone. The phone is really high tech looking and stylish with a gray/blue cover. The buttons are well laid out and big to make calling and punching in information a breeze. The striking thing about this unit is the very bright colorful lighted keys. They are all in a brilliant bright blue with one in red and one in green. You won't have any problems seeing this in lighted areas. One of the best things about this phone is the easy menu system. You will be able to navigate to all the various features in this phone without much difficulty, unlike other phone models. The LCD screen is quite bright and you can select different 'wallpaper' for it. The ring tones are varied which gives you a good selection to choose from. The scheduler program is very easy to use and I now leave my Palm Pilot behind now. I can do much of the things I want to on the LG instead. You can jot notes on the LG, set alarms, set reminders, log telephone numbers, and customize just about anything you want. On my old V60, I used the voice recognition feature to call numbers, but it was inaccurate and I soon dropped using this feature. On the LG, the voice activated feature is astoundingly accurate. I find this feature really useful when I have to make a phone call and can't punch the numbers in manually.

The LG VX32000, paired with Verizon wireless service, is a sure winner. As soon as the phone was activated, I was getting much superior signal strength compared to my old T-mobile plan and Motorola V60. I found myself mimicking the Verizon commercial my friend "Can you hear me now?" The commercials are true. You really can get reception in places you couldn't before. I was very pleased with this. The customer service is excellent. The speaker phone and ear speaker volume are excellent and very loud. You'll find yourself actually turning down the volume in stead of trying to max it out as with other phones. One minor complaint is the sound quality of the ear speaker. It is clear, and it is sharp, but just a bit on the tinny side of tone quality. I'm probably a little picky on this but it bothers me just a tad.

Operating this phone is quite easy and intuitive. I spent about fifteen minutes with the phone and was able to familarize myself with most of the basic functions without looking at the manual. The manual is quite intimidating as there are charts and schematics galore, but the actual operation of the phone is much easier than the printed instructions. I use it more as a reference rather than an instuction manual. The manual, while colorful, is incomplete and somewhat hard to find the info you need. There is an index, but it is incomplete. Good thing that the phone is so easy to use, otherwise, the manual wouldn't be much of a help.

The LG is well made, easy to use, light, good styling, and has good battery life. I am very pleased with this phone. It has everything that I need and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. If you are looking for a good color flip phone, I would say the LG is one to consider. Also, if you are looking for a new wireless phone service, I would also recommmend Verizon very highly. They have great plans and their customer service is very professional and friendly. Reception signal is two to three times stronger with Verizon than when I was with T-mobile. Amazing. I would give the LG a rating of 4 1/2 stars and Verizon a solid 5.
Product features:
Text messages with graphics and sound
Polyphonic ringers and sound capability
Large, 65,000-color display (128 x 128)
Voice-activated dialing and speakerphone
36 ringtones plus vibrating alert

CELL HELL

This CELL phone was the WORST I have ever had and I have had several in my life!! Living right near the HIPTOP headquarter I felt that perhaps I would have better reception than most people. I had read the online reviews (both negative and positive). BUT I had to see for myself.
Here are my points/remarks:

1) The wheel sticks and when that happens you must call T-mobile and they have to send you out a new phone which takes anywhere from 1 wk to 2. They can suspend your account (inc. voice mail) or you can continue to pay inc. for sidekick www services which are $20. a month.

2) Downloaded features are only good once. If you delete the feature to make room for a newer one and want to reinstall you have to repay to redownload (This is on T-mobile).

3) Keyboard -while it is a great layout, comfortable and one can "type" messages/emails with ease.... keys stick and one needs to follow the return policy (See item 1).

4). Built-in Battery w/Memory (hence if you recharge it w/o fully discharging you will damage the battery) -- and the web features are a battery drain.

5) Web features are great -- most inexpensive way to surf the mobile web (compared to blackberry/etc) BUT a) Battery drain and b) EXTREMELY slow.

6) The phone reception is POOR!!!! even in the best of areas and on the best of networks (I spoke to friends in Canada who use this phone called HIPTOP COLOUR on the Fido network and they agree).

7) Phone is bulky!!!

8) I returned my phone 8 times in 18 months. I am not a teenager. I am not irresponsible or rough on my phone... they are just really poorly made. One replacement even arrived w/a broken screen!!!.

Overall SAVE your money and get a blackberry!!! This phone is not worth the month!! Also T-Mobile doesn't value it's customers. Verizon will exchange phones in their stores and keeps loaners in stock in the PDA/Mobile net format for those who depend on them. T-mobile has some loaners but they may send you 30 miles away to get one (at least that is what they did to me). When T-mobile refused to give me a decent price on the SideKick II which is suppose to be better... I said GOOD BYE and went to another carrier and got a simple Nokia and a Pocket PC. My life is much simpler now! AND eventhough I'm carrying 2 devices together they are lighter than the Sidekick
