Nokia 6620 Phone (Cingular)
Great Symbian Phone

I've had this phone about 7 months and I'm very pleased with it. The themes support is very strong, and the availibility of symbian software on the market is very good. Besides a bluetooth phone, I use mine as an all-around PIM, synching with outlook via a cheap bluetooth adapter i installed in mt office PC. Every time an email/note/contact/meeting invite changes, it's imported to/from the desktop or phone automatically, just by virtue of the fact that I'm sitting within 10 feet of the PC. No wires to connect, nothing to remember to click - completely automatic. I haven't been late to or forgotton a meeting or appointment once. With a little bit of internet reasearch, you can find the software to convert MP3s into ringtones as well, denying your carrier that little penny-ante racket they had going trying to bill you ninety-nine cents for a small piece of some music that you probably already have a license for anyways. I love that mine also has irDA infrared. I haven't used it for data changes, but I have used the phone (with the help of psiLoc's infraredRemote program to turn off or down the occasional obnoxious television in restaurants, bars, etc. All in all, this is a great smart phone. If I had one complaint, it would be battery life. Symbian S60 smart phones require a large screen, as this phone has. Nokia thought it would be a good idea to provide a battery that is acutally smaller than that screen. 48 hours standby is pretty typical before it goes dead. The options I've added to my phone include a logitech mobile pro headset, and a 1 gigabyte MMC card so I can use my phone to take large files from home to the office.
Product features:
Integrated camera with 640 x 480 pixel resolution; standard, self-timer, and night mode, 2X digital zoom
Bright active matrix TFT color display supporting 65,536 colors
Combine image, video, text and voice clip and send as Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) to a compatible phone or PC
12 MB built-in flash memory expandable with external multimedia card (MMC) slot for user data. 32 MB MMC included
Bluetooth wireless technology

What are Great Features and Battery Life without the Signal?

The title says it all.
* Great package: Features, size, functionality
* Great battery life: Go 2-3 days on a charge, 500+ of talk time is easy
* Poor signal: I think the internal antenna, small size and miserly use of power makes it hard to get a signal. I get drop outs all the time.
If you do not mind the signal issues, this is a great and now VERY cheap phone.
Product features:
The T616 features a high-resolution screen with 65,536 colors
Comes with MMS, which allows you to compose your messages using images, sounds and text
Supports the Java and Mophun platforms, making the widest range of mobile games and applications available for you to download
Supporting Bluetooth, infrared and cable, the T616 is fully compatible with any computer. Your phone books and calendars will stay synchronized and updated
With a built-in camera and QuickShare software, you take pictures and store them on your computer or send them to friends all in a few simple steps

palmOne Treo 600/650 Stereo Headphone Adapter
Expensive, Should have been Included

When you buy a phone at this price, it should come with this accessory at no additional cost. Charging $9.99 is an insult. Went to Office Depot and I was able to find an HP iPAQ Stereo Earphone that includes the headphone and the adapter for the same price. The HP kit is made by www.Belkin.com (Part#F8U0106-HP). The adapter looks identical to this one.
Product features:
Perfect for listening to your favorite MP3s.
Compatible with: Treo 600 and 650 only
NOTE: Not compatible with Treo 300, 270, 180 or 90

Dual Well Desktop Charger for Motorola V300, V400, V505, V551, V600
OK - - Just OK , not great

I purchased this accessory for my recently acquired Motorola V551 phones (wife and I have the same model phone) We had only used Nokia phones and original accessories in the past, but since I could not find a similar Motorola product (other than one costing $40), I took a chance on this desktop charger. It charges in the same amount of time as the standard charger that came with the phone, i.e. 3 to 4 hours with a run down battery. However, the LED's on the device are useless. They say that the battery was charged in 20 minutes, and the instructions say you should believe them vs the indicator on your phone. It would be impossible to charge a completely drained battery in 20 minutes, so my advice would be to believe what your phone is telling you and leave it in the charger until the phone tells you the charging is complete. However, with that said, it is an inexpensive desktop charger that does seem to work OK, and can also charge an extra battery at the same time.
Product features:
Charges your phone and an extra battery
LCD screen displays charging status
Quickly charges most batteries in 1 to 2 hours
Standard AC power supply included
Compatible with Motorola V300, V400, V500, V505, V551, V600

Don't bother

This phone is unnecessarily complicated. The screen resolution sucks. The camera is virtually useless. Menu navigation is very cumbersome. The only good thing about this phone is, it gets you cash back. In short, I would not buy this phone again. I'm waiting for my contract to get over so that I can get better phone.
Product features:
Large 128x160 pixel 65.000 color screen
MMS for composing messages using images, sounds and text
Supports Java and Mophun platforms for the widest range of mobile games and applications
Supports Bluetooth, infrared and cable for PC synchronization

Kyocera 2119 Phone The Party Animal (VirginMobile)
phone

I picked this phone up originally from Circuit City, for $40. The pay-as-you-go plan appealed to me, and it's hard to find a phone that cheap without signing a 1- or 2-year contract to go with it. Virgin Mobile (the "plan"):
The best part about this plan is that there really isn't a plan at all! When you buy any Virgin Mobile phone, you automatically get $10 of starter airtime. Each minute of talk time costs 25 cents. There are no catches based on the time of day--plus no long-distance or roaming charges! After ten minutes of talk-time, your charge becomes only 10 cents a minute. Text messages are free to receive and 10 cents to send. More time can be purchased with your credit card via phone or internet, or you can purchase a Top-Up card at several vendors which gives you a pin # to enter. In order to keep your phone number active, you must add at least $20 every 90 days. All minutes roll over. Along with great reception, Virgin Mobile offers caller ID and voice mail for no extra charge. Also, setting up your phone is quick and easy and can be done online or over the phone. The Phone itself:
The "Party Animal", as Virgin Mobile calls it, is a Kyocera 2119 phone. It weighs 4.5 oz. and has dimensions of 1.9" x 5.1" x 1.0". The phone is bigger than most, but is easy to handle, easy to hear, and not heavy enough to weigh down a purse or pocket. The phone will remain charged for over 6 days of standby time or 4 hours of talk time. To completely recharge the phone takes approximately 4 hours, though it is easy to charge for portions at a time. The phone does come with a charger and a car-charger can be purchased separately. The backlight is great, and the screen is very easy to read. However, be careful--I've heard it scratches easily, though I have not had a problem. Navigation through the menus is easy, mostly using the up and down arrow keys. The phone will store up to 200 contacts, and for each you can have several phone numbers, an email address, and an address. However, sometimes the buttons stick (especially after changing faceplates), but the phone has substance. Along with all that, the phone is entirely convenient. You can simply switch between a ringer and vibrate mode, adjust the volume or lighting, or turn on the keyguard. Other features include 2 games (a simple version of Pong and another game which involves shooting space ships), a calculator, stop watch, alarm, tip calculator, countdown timer, and all pay-per-use "VirginXtras" such as downloading new ringtones, horoscopes, and MTV/VH1 news. One of the things I like best about this phone is how you can set it to beep at the 50 second point, so you know you can wrap up a conversation if need be. You also are sent a message when your balance is getting low.Overall, this phone is great for standard use. It allows you to determine how much you want to spend, be it for emergences only or for regular chats.
Product features:
No prepaid minutes included. Comes with charger.
Four-way easy to use navigation; backlit five-line, full bit-map display
Contact directory to save names, addresses, and up to 200 numbers
Comes with an extra faceplate, and 2 games
Handy tools include calculator, countdown timer, and a stopwatch

Really a good basic phone

So, I used to have fancy-pants phone, a nokia 6600 that I got from amazon for a good price after rebate, and I was really happy with it. But then it got lost, by no fault of mine, but that's a different story.

Anyway, as you probably know, the deal with cell phones these days is that you either get a good deal when you first sign up for service or you end up paying an unreasonable amount of money for a phone. Looking around, I found that the nokia was the cheapest replacement I could get from t-mobile. That, and every other low-end phone seemed to have some sort of major design flaw that users were complaining about. So, even though I was a bit dismayed about getting a cheaper, less fancy phone, it seemed like the best option at the time.

Now that I've had it for a few days, I must say that I am pretty impressed with it. It does not have all the bells and whistles, but it does do the basic phone thing well. Good clarity, good reception, small and light. It fits in the front pocket better than the 6600 ever did. The only things I don't like about it so far are the lousy included ringers (what ever happened to basic phone ringtones?) and the low rez screen. Sometimes a nice, high rez gray scale LCD is better than a low rez color, but whatever, it's not a smartphone so I won't spend a lot of time looking at the screen I guess. Oh yeah, and I wish it had a way to sync other than syncML, which I haven't figured out yet.

But really, it's a good phone, it just won't earn you any style points or anything.
Product features:
Lightweight and ergonomic design
One touch dialing and voice dialing for easy communication
Phone book with up to 500 contacts, with up to 5 numbers and 3 text entries per contact
Personalize your phone with 8 different color schemes
Stay connected with AOL, MSN and Yahoo messaging.

This phone is great 4 taking pictures,so if your a picture taking person you should consider buying it.
I have one and i like to use the,camera,e-mail,MMS,SMS and the video recorder.
i downloaded a mulitimedia player from the nokia.com so that i can now video record clips from my phone and send them(via blutooth)to my computer.then e-mail the clips from my computer.
However the volume of the ringtones are limited but thats my only fault with the phone.
