Great Phone

For the price you get for this phone (free) you can not beat it, there are nice options its not that big the camera is great for asigning pictures to numbers you get from going out the night before :). The circular pad is different but no less dificult to use. The display is sharp and all in all I think its a great phone.

Good product, but NO speakerphone!

I don't think there's deliberate deception, but Amazon's promotion is wrong. There is no speakerphone on the T610 or T616. I emailed customer service, but have not received a response. A few days after my email the error remains on the product web page. The phone was for my husband, who wears hearing aids and uses a speaker to make phone calls, so this one has to go back. It's otherwise a good product, we think.

This battery works best for the 3390...

I just received it yesterday, and I charged it to full capacity then. It hasn't gone down at all yet, and I've been using it a lot today. My original battery would've been halfway down by now. So, it works really well. I highly recommend it.

could have been better

I bought this phone after a long dilemma between this and Razor, I am glad that I settled for this baby, Hats off for Sony Ericsson.

I'm one of those ppl who do a LOT of research before buying anything. And believe me, Razor does not even come close to this phone, its sleek thats it, and ofcourse, most motorolas are pieces of junk.

Everyone say this phone is expensive and big and bulky, ppl please see what the bloody thing is packing!!! The camera quality is amazing, the best I've seen so far and believe me I've seen quite a bit, even better that Nokia's 1.3. The only better thing might be the z800(if I am not wrong) which packs a better camera.

The Swivel action is so cool. But let me get this clear, it's "technically" 360 degrees rotational, but practically only 180. You can close ONLY the way you opened it, but i guess it helps to keep screws from loosening or something.

The screen, OMG, its beautiful, the clarity is amazing, and its huge. Please take care of it, its too vulnerable to scratches, get PDA protectors or something,

Fully functional MP3 player, its kinda boo that only 128 megs can be put in, but i can get like 6 128 mb cards for less than 30 bucks. But yeah lack of PRO support pisses me off. Most ppl think you cant do anything on the phone when the MP3 player is ON. but you can minimize your player and get on with your other stuff. The clarity is not like any cheap player, its almost as good as an iPod, the headset provided is decent, but the sad thing is you cant put in your own headphones, you'll have to use a sony's only.

I think they renewed the firmware or something, so the UI is not as slow as people say it is.

The reception is awesome, you wont know how good it is until you use it.

So yeah, want advice? buy it

Just say no...

I have had my v60i for a month and a half and have had no problems. Before I purchased this phone, I read all the negative reviews regarding the antenna breaking. The antenna just doesn't break off for no apparent reason. Most likely the individuals applied pressure to the antenna to remove it from the holster. This is an absolutely beautiful phone. I get reception where I usually was unable to. I used to have a Motorola 720; I hated it. I was constantly charging it and dropping it because of the holster. It never stayed in the holster when I would bend. People are complaining about the holster for the v60i for being too hard to remove. I love it! Once I put my gorgeous v60i in my holster, it stays put.

yet another V300 review

This is my first Motorola phone. All my previous phones were Nokias. I preferred Nokia phones because of their user friendly menus and outstanding battery-life. My only reason for switching to Motorola was to try a flip phone for once. I checked the user reviews, and V300 seemed like a good choice. Well, after a couple of months I have decided to write my on review. The pros and cons are below. In my opinion the biggest problem of this phone is its extremely short battery life. If you are using a Nokia, when you see that you got only one bar on your battery-meter, you know that you got -at least- half a day. But with V300, when you see that last bar, you better hurry because this phone dies on you like a fish out of water.

- Screen resolution is good with vivid colors.
- Looks nice.
- The VGA camera (even with x4 zoom) works fine.
- The speaker is of high quality.
- It is relatively cheap.

- The battery life is way too short.
- Lacks bluetooth.
- The design of the keypad is really bad.
- Sometimes the phone responds a bit slowly (especially when you are trying to scrool up or down in the phonebook.)

Product features:
Tri-band GSM capability
Large color display features 65,000 colors
Built-in VGA camera with zoom
Supports text messaging and wireless Internet (WAP 2.0)
Comes with 35 ringtones and supports MIDI and MP3 formats

Why Is Everyone Complaining About A Great Phone?

I was recently sent this phone by T-Mobile since the old Nokia I had was beginning to act up. At first, I was excited because of the color screen but after three months, I am on looking for a new phone. Whats the problem? well for starters, the key pad is just plain annoying when you try and text message. Sometimes the keys don't work unless you press really hard and they get confusing since they are spaced so close to each other. Also, the phone looses all reception and says "enter SIM card" on the front. My sim card is in! At first I thought it was just me and my bad luck with technology but a lot of my friends have the same phone and theirs do the exact same thing. Ironically enough, this always happens in the middle of a really exciting conversation or a flurry of text messages. Come on, I'm a teenager, this thing is practically my lifeline! It is extremely annoying when it suddenly decides to stop working. Don't get me wrong, there are a few good things about it, like the ability to stay on for four days without needing to be recharged, the fun ring tones, the color screen and the little blue rubber thingy on the back (which, by the way, constantly falls off). So I had to tell y'all, there are better phones out there, like the Samsung E105 and the Nokia 3390 is probably the most dependable phone out there (and doesn't break no matter how many times you drop it on the sidewalk!)so please reconsider before you get this phone, it looks kinda cool, despite the ugly brown face plate, but it doesn't work very well.

Synchronize your phone book, calendar and to-do list with your PC using SyncML over WAP

agree with the indestructible part

I've had the phone for a couple of years. I've lost it in the car, dropped it a number of times, just like the other reviewer. The phone's latest adventure was that I lost it in the blizzard in Washington, DC a couple of weeks ago. It fell out of my pocket and got buried in 6 inches of snow, but I didn't notice for an hour or so. By then I was on the other side of the city. I called the people who lived at the place I thought I dropped it, and asked if they could try calling it to find it in the snow. They couldn't hear it. After more than a week, the snow melted enough that they found the phone. I had flown back across the country and even ordered a replacement phone. Their son told me yesterday he had it and brought it to me. It not only fired up right away, but after a little wiggling around it is now even charging back up and seems to work just fine.

Includes camera attachment
256 color display
Polyphonic ringtones

Good phone but could be better

I got this phone coz there aren't really any GREAT phones with tmobile anyways. Got it a month back and I'll say I am satisfied with it. The voice and signal strengths are good and I haven't experienced any dropped calls. The Menu is a bit cumbersome but then I was used to the simple nokia interface. This phone has the best ringtones I have heard in a phone and the situational lights on the front look cool, so it has all the bling bling you'll need. Also it is highly customisable and you can spend hours just exploring all it's features. The camera is ok and the video player seems like a good thing to have. However, the phone book stores only one number per person and the recent/missed calls list stores only the last one call for a person, not all or even 5. It's a lil on the heavy side but is not big like the Nokia 6600 or Samsung D415. Overall it's an average phone but works good as far as talking on it is concerned and if you can get used to the menu, you can have some fun with it too. I am keeping mine.

VGA camera with 4x digital zoom

Great Phone - Cool Features

This phone is a great buy! The bluetooth works great with the Jabra headset. While the built-in camera does not take Photo quality pics, it does allow for some fantastic candid shots on the go. Battery life has not been an issue so far.
