I can't believe the battery can just stand for 1 day long because the advertisement describes it can stand for more than 3 days. Maybe the reception (Tmobile) at my area is not good at all. Otherwise is great based on my one week experience. The assembly quality is excellent too.

I am a fairly advanced computer user, so if I'm having so much trouble with this software and bluetooth connection, I can't imagine how any normal person could figure it out. But worse, the software IS CLEARLY DELETING VALUABLE CONTACT INFORMATION FROM MY OUTLOOK!
To start, users of Windows Service Pack 2 have to do a manual work around to get the bluetooth to work. They explain this once you dig deep at the Motorola support site. But the instructions are terrible and only after careful guessing was I successful.
But that's when the real fun starts. For several days, it appeared everything was running just fine -- then everything stopped working. I even upgraded to the newest 3.0 version, but still no luck. Only after a difficult system restore and reinstallation did things work again. No idea why.
That's when I noticed the biggest problem of all. After doing a sync, the software was DELETING business addresses and removing the street address from home addresses. Crazy since that information doesn't even sync to the phone. I can't explain it, but I was fortunate enough to have a backup of my data and try again. Sure enough, it did it again.
I must note that I also run Plaxo to keep my contacts up to date. Perhaps there is some conflict with that software, but considering millions of people use it, it shouldn't matter. But I saw big problems even after uninstalling Plaxo.
This software is not ready for primetime and should be pulled. It's just not worth risking the loss of your contact data!

The price on this phone was the biggest draw. Voice dial, the vibrate option, and the variety of ring tones (and the ability to create your own!!) were key features. The menu is easy to navigate and can be personally (re)arranged. The volume, both ring and in-call, are strong and clear (I wish I could say as much for our Samsung S105). The phone is also weighs very little, yet the keys are still easy to punch (even with average sized man hands) and the display is easy to read (it has a magnify option if you want things bigger.
My only reservation about the phone is the overall construction. It does not feel as solid as the Samsung S105 when opening and closing. With that said, I have had no problems using it for the past month; it's just a difference I've noticed that I hope doesn't lead to problems later on.
Overall, this is a great phone if you want a solid phone without some of the frills and come-ons of some of many newer phones (ie, color screens, cameras, etc.)
Also, if you purchase this phone also order the premium leather case Amazon offers. It is by far the best fitting and highest quality case on the market and is an actual Motorola product (I looked high & low and found nothing better or the same item cheaper anywhere else).

Voice activated dialing
Internet ready with optional T-Zones service

When I first got this phone I thought it was great, and so did other people, but that didn't last very long. Once you get past the novelty of a sliding phone, not much is there to back it up. I actually dropped the phone the first week I had it, and got a huge crack in the screen and the battery popped out and wouldn't fit in the phone anymore without tape. Yes, very bad. I've dropped phones in the past resulting in no major damage, so this was a bit disappointing. The phone is definitely geared towards younger cell users, with childish screen savers and wallpaper, and MTV extras that you still have to pay for (usually .10 for each service like news, games, etc.). NOT a good phone for large hands or fingers, as holding and dialing at the same time becomes a pain. I have small fingers but it was still a problem.
Service is another story. If you plan on talking more than 100 minutes a month, definitely do not get this plan. Most of my conversations last less than 10 minutes, so I ended up paying .25 a minute (it's .10 after the first 10 minutes). $2 for an 8 minute conversation is HORRIBLE! I've breezed through, on average, $60 a month. I'm going back to a monthly billed plan simply because I'd rather have 400 or more minutes a month for $50 (with tax) and be careful not to go over rather than paying as much as I am now. Plus Amazon has so many deals on phones where you actually GET MONEY BACK, that I couldn't imagine spending $130 or more on a phone again.
Pros? Well it gets decent service and the ringtones are OK as well. Speakerphone is a great thing too! That's all I can think of....
Games are not good at all, although the 21 card game is good to play if you are trying to fall asleep. Stinks that you have to pay to access your voicemail as well (the usual .25/minute cost). This phone just isn't worth the money!

God am I sick of this phone. I've never experienced such poor coverage. I was previously with both Sprint and T-Mobile, and though they had their flaws, I was able to live with them. I cannot make a phone call on the road because of the constant drops. It's amazing how awful this phone is.

The features on this phone are awesome, but the design of the phone is terrible. The direct connect speaker is located on the back of the phone, so when you're using it, the sound goes directly into the palm of your hand. This wouldn't be bad, but he direct connect microphone is located on the opposite side of the phone. It just isn't near as loud as my I90C. If you're buying it to look good and put a trophy on your belt, this is your phone. If you're buying it for functionality and to actually use it in a real world environment, consider another nextel.

Bought this almost a month ago because of the price - about $40. Bought it to replace a more expensive Jabra BT200 which I lost. The following description is comparing the Platnronics to the Jabra. Fits my ear medium good; has two sizes of ear pieces that fit around the back of the ear. Pretty light, but doesn't quite fit the shape of the back of my ear, so fatigue sets in after about 1/2 hour. When that happens I switch to the other ear. Sounds a little tinny, but not too annoying. However it's not as loud. Turn it up too much and it gets more tinny and may distort. Has that light "plastic toy" fit and feel. Pairing to my Nokia 3650 went as expected. Range... about 30 feet, and then the signal starts breaking up. Not too bad. Battery life... pretty good. I notice that it goes into a low-power mode after a few seconds (when not in a call) unless the phone wakes it up. Reconnect from low-power mode to an ongoing conversation takes about 1/2 to 1 second. I noticed that my phone will run out of battery power in half the time when bluetooth is enabled, so I usually leave it shut off unless I'm already in a call. Besides, when bluetooth is on, it quiets the ringing. So if the headset isn't in my ear, I may not hear the phone ring.

Plantronics Wireless Headset
Crystal clear conversations with adjustable volume and mute control
Bluetooth compatible with devices supporting headset or hands-free profile

I received my Sharp TM150 late last week and think it is a great phone, especially as it was free! Being from England, I am used to seeing Sharp cell phones about and was surprised that this is the first, and as yet only, Sharp cell phone available in the USA. Because I was familar with Sharp, I wasn't too concerned regarding their quality despite never owning one myself. The only concern is lack of accessories and such availble in the USA.
I have read a lot of the reviews, both bad and good, and wanted to voice my views. Firstly, though the sound of the ringers does seem surprisingly muffled when the microphone is covered, it only seems that way as it is so loud to start with. Also, it only seems this way when using downloaded ringtones, which is the case with most makes of phones to some extent.
Another criticism that I didn't understand was the menu. Many say this is complicated but I found it simple to use - so much so that I didn't need my manual by me to figure it out. It made sense on the whole and the 'areas' of the menu made it easy to find what you wanted.
With regards to it automatically opening when you open the phone...this is not a set feature. I turned this option off quite easily and now can open it without it answering if I so choose.
The ringtones are decent quality and I find I have a good selection. The only downside is that if you set vibrate to match the sound, the vibrate on a couple is very weak due to tempo of the tone. I prefer the vibrate to match the tone so I simple chose a tone that had a strong sound as well as vibrate in cases I may miss the sounds.
The only thing which does irritate me, which may be a T Mobile issue rather than the phone, is that when in the T-zone you cannot preview the wallpapers or sounds if you wanted without downloading. I was a bit narked that you couldnt 'try before you buy'. Also, for some reason my plan won't allow me to download games - the one thing I wanted to actually download - as my plan does not support that (again T Mobile not the phone).
Overall I am, as yet pleased with the phone. The camera is great and the screen is amazing - the best I have ever seen or had. I'd say this phone is perfect for those who like gadgets but want a phone which is easy to use and has decent specs. If you, like me, don't require bluetooth but want all the perks of a modern phone style, this is a great choice!

This phone is junk, junk, junk. Reliability-not this phone. Performance? Buy Motorola or Nokia. Need a phone to look pretty and want something small, stylish and makes a great paperweight? Here's your phone. Want a phone for the wife in case she has a flat tire on a rainy night? Not this one unless you don't love your wife. This phone almost cost me my job when it started cutting off on it's own. Want a phone that skips across the lake nicely? Here's your phone. Want something that skips across the lake well that you can talk to? This phone or a rock, not much difference other than surface finish.
Junk, junk, junk. Any questions?
