Nokia LCH-12 Car Charger for Nokia Phones and Bluetooth Headsets
Great Charger at a Great Price

My phone seemed to only lose it's charge when I happened to be in my car. I thought my provider was going to supply me with a mobile charger but nope just the standard home A/C model. I searched for a mobile charger directly from Nokia and couldn't believe the price they wanted for it! I figured I would just make do without one. That was until I found this one. I have had no problems with it what so ever. I don't see how you possibly could. Just simple quick recharging power on the go.
Product features:
Plugs into cigarette lighter port to power the handset
Automatic cutoffs to prevent overcharging battery
Extendable cord for mobility while charging
1-foot cord length
Compatible with Nokia 3650, 252, and 282 phones, and 5100/6100/7100/8200/8800 series phones

Jabra EarBud for phones with Universal 2.5mm Jack
Yes it breaks within 6 months, but its the best design...

I have been using the Jabra earbud for over 3 years now. Its been a love/hate relationship. I love them because they fit so easily into the ear, the sound quality is great and I love the in-line answer button. I hate that I have had to replace them approximately every 6 months or so! The cord shorts out and just stops working. On one set, I had the ear bud become detached from the unit. Well, that's my two cents, excuse while I order another set...
Product features:
Increased hands-free safety
Economical and easy to install
Proven noise-canceling technology
Increased comfort
Compatible with phones containing a 2.5-millimeter jack

Sony Ericsson T637 Phone - Next Generation (AT&T)
Outdated already, but still a nice phone

The Sony Ericsson T637 replaces venerable and popular T616. Although T637 represents an upgrade from T616, it is a minor upgrade with the following changes:
- Improved RF reception: although only marginally improved over T616 (upgraded antenna and tweaked firmware), any RF reception improvement is a good thing.
- Improved LCD: active matrix TFT (T616 was passive STN) for improved display quality and greater visibility under the sun
- Built-in Wireless Village Instant Messaging: IM with AOL, ICQ, and Yahoo!
- Slightly smaller and lighter
- More pre-loaded themes and games
- Supposedly longer talk time (in my experience, it was about the same)Perhaps the most noticeable change is redesigned plastic chassis. While it is not quite as stylish as metallic T616 (at least in my opinion), it is still quite stylish. And if you are Macintosh fanatic, you might prefer T637 over T616. It is distinctively more Mac-like in appearance (alas, it is not available in white as T630 was). And as an added benefit, unlike T616 (which requires constant cleaning), it is finger print resistant.Otherwise, not much else has changed.Pros:
- Very good user interface with colorful icons
- Excellent built quality
- Superb Bluetooth implementation
- Excellent connectivity options (Bluetooth, IrDA, USB)
- Great SyncML implementation
- Highly portable
- Customizable operating system (themes, ring tones, picture ID)
- Good battery life considering its size
- Good address book implementation (although lacking in street address field)
- Ton of software, ring tones, themes, and wallpaper available online
- Mac OS X friendlyCons:
- No speakerphone
- No EDGE
- Not enough spacing between each key
- Poor included wired earpiece sound quality (especially outbound)
- Only 2 MB memory, not expandable via MemoryStick, SD/MMC, etc.
- Dingy built-in speaker
- Poor camera picture quality
- No MP3 and AAC playback, no FM tuner
- Auto key lock timer not customizable- Clock screensaver cannot be disabled
- mMode button cannot be disabled (requires creating a dummy WAP profile and data account)All in all, T637 is a good mid-end phone that works well. I wish it had speakerphone and expandable memory, however.
Product features:
Built-in CommuniCam digital camera
Bluetooth enabled; infrared support
PC Synchronization using SyncML over WAP
Instant Messaging client - Yahoo, AOL, and ICQ supported
Organizer includes alarm clock, calculator, calendar with up to 500 entries and more

Worst phone I've owned!

I'm not one for paying a lot for a cell phone, and ususally that works out fine for me. The free offer phones I've had in the past have been decent phones with good reception. This phone I actually paid for and have had major, frustrating issues with it.The phone freezes a lot, has terrible reception, and picks up a lot of background noise making it hard for people on the other end to hear what you're saying.I definitely do not recommend this phone!
Product features:
Large 128x160 pixel 65.000 color screen
MMS for composing messages using images, sounds and text
Supports Java and Mophun platforms for the widest range of mobile games and applications
Supports Bluetooth, infrared and cable for PC synchronization
With a built-in 319 x 288 pixel camera and QuickShare software

Dont get TMobile

This is the latest phone I've had with TMobile. I got a contract extension, and I regret it. I have a couple months left until I can switch to a better company. The service with these people is awful. They are rude and dont care if you're satisfied if you have a contract. They get really sweet when your contract is up.

There is a reason that Verizon and Cingular are much, much bigger companies. If you're thinking of switching, dont pick TMobile! The initial deals look good, but you'll regret it!

Good Product

I tried this phone out - and it didn't take me more than a few days to figure out...yes, it's cute, and has cute little bells and whistles. But the reception is horrible! I've heard that this phone has some internal problems with soldering that can be fixed - but who wants to deal with that. Also, the phone seems quiet. The ringtone, and volume of calls didn't meet my satisfaction. The one pretty good thing was the battery life did seems to hold the way explained to me.

No prepaid minutes included. Comes with battery and charger
Seven changeable backlight display colors to match your mood
External Caller ID Display: know who's calling without opening your phone
2-way text messaging, 1-touch and voice dialing

Mobile Data 3-in-1 USB Travel Kit for palmOne Treo 600
Good value, works fine - power via USB, car, or wall outlet

There have been plenty of poorly-constructed power supplies out there -- iGo, Jabra -- that are priced high, look good and work fine initially but later fall apart. This product is reasonably priced, and while it lacks a fancy design, it works just fine and hasn't fallen apart.

The prime benefit of this product is that it lets you get power to your Treo via whatever's available: USB port in a PC, car cigarette lighter, or wall outlet. This kind of flexibility is mandatory when you are travelling.

A secondary benefit is that it lets you lighten your load, since the charging cable is the same no matter whether you are charging from USB, cigarette lighter, or wall outlet.
Product features:
Power and charge your phone anywhere
Rapid synchronization between your PC and your phone
Charge from any USB port, vehicle, electrical outlet
Portable; no need for extra cords
Compatible with palmOne Treo 600 and 300

NOKIA Bluetooth adapter AD-5B. Connects to compatible Nokia phones via Pop-Port conector.
Good idea but needs a lot of improvement

I initially saw this bluetooth adapter on Nokia website and i was interested to get it for my Nokia 3100.

Wasn't too happy about the $50 price tag but I was sick of fumbling with the headset cable. ( Plus another $70 for a half way decent bluetooth headset to go with it. )

I tried to get as much information about the product as I could before ordering it ( eg. size, compatibility, battery consumption )

Needless to say I was dissapointed. The biggest issue I saw with it was that when you plug in the adapter, no matter what profile you set your phone to, the phone stops ringing for incoming calls. Instead, the phone ring gets sent to the bluetooth headset and you hear your phone ringing through the headset.

This sucks, because this means you have to wear the headset 24x7 otherwise you will miss the call because the phone itself will never ring as long as the adapter is connected to it. On some phones there is a way around this because there is a menu setting for enhanced features, but not the 3100.

The website doesn't talk at all about this and neither does the user guide. It came to me as a surprise and a let down.

When I called Nokia technical support to find out if there was a way to configure the phone to ring while the adapter is attached to it, they first started picking on me because I had gotten a bluetooth headset that was from Motorola instead of from Nokia.

Then they started giving me a condescending answer to my question about the phone stops ringing when you attach the adapter. The guy was saying "The whole idea of a wireless headset is to get your audio signal sent to your headset" which, I thought was a completely lame answer, since if you use the wired head set, you still hear the phone ring on incoming calls, the phone doesn't ring through the freaking headset and stay silent externally.

The adapter when paired with a headset and connected to the phone, continuously keeps blinking the green light in front of it wich contributes to the depletion of the battery charge quicker. The users guide talks about a power save mode, but just as a passing mention, while talking about some other feature. I wasn't able to find instructions in the users guide on how to put the adapter in power save mode. When I was researching this product before buying it, I went to the product's website, faq section, and found some notes about battery consumption. It talks about the unit consuming so many mA ( milli amps ) when in standby mode vs. talk mode. Which is worthless information to me as a consumer because it doesn't tell me how fast it will suck the juice from my battery in terms of time.

The bluetooth only allows you to use it for headset purposes. You cannot, for example use a bluetooth enabled laptop and try to connect to the phone to download or upload your contacts' phone numbers to it. This is not possible with this product, and the website makes that much fairly clear.

The plus was that I was able to get it paired with the headset with relative ease and the sound quality was acceptable.

Overall, i think the product was designed badly and the users guide wasn't extremely helpful either.

I would recommend against spending money to buy an adapter for a phone, the phone will eventually become outdated anyways. I will be returning both the adapter and the headset for now. When I'm ready to upgrade my phone, I will just buy a bluetooth enabled phone and buy a bluetooth headset at that time.
