Nokia 3650 Phone (T-Mobile)
Excellent deal

This phone, in addition to all latest cell phone features, comes with almost as many bells and whistles as a PDA. The screen is almost as big as that of a PDA. The calendar, address book, and the to-do list have many useful options and the large screen makes it even easier to work with them. The display is bright enough to see everything even in the sun (unlike many PDA's and other cell phones). A free phone with this many features is a steal (unless you don't want to sign up for T-Mobile service).
Product features:
Wireless phone with integrated video/digital camera
3.4 MB on board storage, MultiMediaCard expansion slot
Oversized display for MP4 video playback
High-speed internet access, supports Java-based downloads
Integrated Bluetooth connectivity for data transmission to other Bluetooth devices

Nokia 6800 Phone (T-Mobile)
Half of a PDA?

I've had a 6800 for a year on ATT's service. The service usually sucks, but that's not the phone's fault as far as I can tell. I use it to take notes and check weather and traffic. The dialing directory is huge, the Nokia UI is easy to learn and use (I've been using Nokia cell phones since 1989, so take my usability comments with a grain of salt), and people prefer the speakerphone on the 6800 to my $250 Polycom on my desk.

Phones with moving parts have always scared me, but this one is very sturdy, and the keyboard is pretty easy to type on (with thumbs).

On the downside, the screen scratches easily and the headset connector is not 2.5mm; it's a Nokia custom connector. It's hard to hold the phone while keeping your fingers away from the internal antenna (as the manual suggests); practically impossible when the keyboard is flipped open.

Unique 2-in-1 concept with integrated full keyboard
Supports concatenated (long) SMS/MMS/ POP/IMAP email, and instant messaging
128x128 color display
Manage contacts, calendar and to-do list with reminders
Includes phone and travel charger

Excellent Phone PDA Combo

I love my sx56, I have taken it everywhere, snowboarding, skydiving, beach, everywhere. Mine has never broken, in fact it is the sturdiest cell phone I've ever owned. Once I upgraded it to the Windows Mobile 2003 OS it was even better. All the cool standard software was great. Plus I added the Microsoft Voice Command software and can make calls to all my outlook contacts by pushing one button and saying "Call so and so home", you don't even have to train or record the voice commands, it does it all by voice recognition!
Product features:
Combined phone & PDA features
Includes pocket versions of Microsoft Word & Excel
Internet browser capable
Speakerphone, Microphone and Voice Recorder
Includes Charger and Battery and Hands-Free Headset and Belt Clip and Case and Sync Software

Nokia 3220 Phone (T-Mobile)
Cute, useful, light, but no show stopper...

In what appears to be an attempt to emulate the popularity and customizability of the 5190 in the past, Nokia is branding the 3220 as a hip phone for youngsters. Regardless of how that makes you feel, it's useful. Although the menu graphics are somewhat disappointing, the phone's operating system is stable and fast. The phone itself is very small, smaller than the average Sony Ericcson small. It comes with a mobile internet browser, supports ICQ, AIM, and Y! instant messengers, and comes standard with a handful of java games. Aside from that, there is a vast array of Java applications you can buy to add to the phone. I switched to this phone from the Sidekick I color. I am relieved not to be carrying a phone the size of a large bar of soap in my pocket. I reccommend this product for people who want a visibly attractive, light phone that can handle the basics flawlessly and occaisionally do other things.
Product features:
Customize your handset how ever you want - create your own cut-out back cover, or download a cut-out cover and print it out on your PC
Assign different light patterns/ring tones to your favorite caller groups and your handset lights up in tune with your polyphonic ring tones
128 x 128 pixel high-resolution color displays up to 65,536 colors with 640 x 480 pixel camera and VGA camera
Attach a photo to a contact in your in your phone book to see who is calling you
Stay in touch even when you can't talk with AOL Instant Messenger or Yahoo Messenger

Cute look but not very functional or practical.

To be honest, the only reason that I chose this phone was because of the way it looked. It was the smallest and the cutest of all the choices of free phones available. I've since learned to never ever buy a phone for it's looks.

1) It has a speaker phone which is very convenient.
2) It is very small and compact.
3) People have told me that the call quality is quite clear when I call them from the phone.

1) The ringing volume is way too low. Even when set to the loudest pitch possible. It's so low that I can't hear it ringing in my purse while walking through the mall or any other noisy area. I have to keep it in my pocket so that I can feel it vibrate.

2) The call volume is also very low on occasion. There have been times when I have had to ask people to speak up because I couldn't hear them. I found that using the headset fixes this problem....but in my opinion, I shouldn't have to use the headset just so I can hear better. The phone itself should be sufficient.

3) If you have poor eyesight like me, this is definitely not the phone for you. In certain lighting, the screen is extremely hard to see and the fonts are rather small.

4) I seem to experience a lot of missed calls and dropped calls with this phone. Even when I am in a decent service area. For some reason, if I am in an area where I only have one or two reception bars, I may or may not get my call. I don't think this has anything to do w/ T-Mobile's service because I never had this problem w/ my old Nokia phone. Even w/ just one bar, it always worked and I could always send and recieve calls.

5) It doesn't come w/ any games. That's probably not so important to most people, including me.....but I also have to admit that I did occasionally enjoy playing bowling on my old nokia every once in a while.

6) The battery life is on the poor side. I have to charge this phone every night compared to my old phone which only need charging every 2-3 days.

Overall, the cons outweigh the pros on this phone and I'm certain that I'm going to be taking advantage of T-Mobile's 14 return/exchange policy.

I can't live without it!

I'll be honest, I was a bit apprehensive at first about getting one of these things. Now I don't see how I ever went without it. I bought my sidekick two weeks ago today and I just love it. Yes, it is pricey but well worth it. Since I already had a contract with Verizon I only got the sidekick for data. I don't see what people are complaining about with this phone. Web browsing is what you'd expect. Pages load quicker on here than on my comp sometimes. But keep in my, it's a phone, not high speed dsl. I have used it as phone service a couple of times (just to test out coverage and reception in my area) and it's been great. A few deadspots in my house sometimes but still better than I expected. I live in the Richmond, VA area so T-mobile has excellent coverage here. Text messaging is soooo easy with my sidekick and AIM and AOL email are remarkably fast. It's the closest you can get to a mini-laptop on a phone. The only real complaints I have about this are minor to most but enough that drove me to give it only four stars: first, the camera. It's mediocre at best and sucky at worst. My camera on my LG vx-6000 is better. You have to get really close to the person or object you are taking a picture of in order for it to turn out decent. I need tips on how to work with the camera maybe. The other thing I hate is the lack of variety with the ringtones and games. There aren't nearly as many as Verizon has, but I'm hoping that this will improve. All in all, it's still worth the money. Verizon was robbing me blind with the amount of texting I was doing every month so I'm glad I have the sidekick for that. I am in the process of having my sidekick tricked out and I'm seriously contemplating having it studded (damn you Paris Hilton) because it's too cute looking and reflects my personality sooo much. I highly recommend buying a sidekick especially if you are an on the go person like me who does a lot of text messaging and emailing.

Real web browsing

Built-in organizer with PC synchronization
