Samsung V205 Phone (T-Mobile)
Awesome, durable phone

This phone is great! I got it with 2 batteries, which was really handy as I chat for hours on the phone. It stores 100 pics, although you can't use the pics as a caller id for your friends. I was the envy of all at my graduation 2 years ago, taking pics and emailing them to the people instanteously. Now that is standard, but even most phones now don't store 100 pics!

This flip phone lasted me exactly 2 years (2003-2005). Just yesterday the rotator/barrel thingy broke cuz I had it in my darn pocket. Phone still works, but it flips too far open.

This was a great phone!

Good for its time

As we all know, cell phones are almost as bad as PC's with how quickly they become obsolete. I got this phone several months ago, and it was a good deal at $50 because it had a color screen. Now, if you do your research you can get a better phone for free. Here are the pros and cons that I have noticed in my experience with the phone:Pros:
* The little blue rubber finger thingie in the back is very comfortable (however, read the cons below!)
* The keys seem wierd, but after a small adjustment period, they are actually better (more comfortable, even with text messaging) than other phones I've used
* Reception is good - I know this is part phone quality because I had the same provider with a crappier phone and reception was much worse
* Good amount of features for the price (I'm not going to list them all - check out the specs if you want to know)
* Battery life is good - I a few hundred minutes a month (400 - 700) and it takes 3-4 days to run out of battery
* Although resolution is smaller than newer phones, it can be easier to read because the font is larger
* Ring tones are nice but I don't ever use them - I think it's annoying when someone has their ring turned up to level 99999 just to show off their ring tone
* Contrast is good - the other guy that complained about this either has a bad phone or needs some vision correction :O)
* Weight - it is lighter than most other phones in its class
* Skydiver! I don't play the other games - not much of a backgammon fanCons:
* The little blue rubber finger thingie falls off very easily! You can superglue it back on, if you don't lose it like I did!
* Size - other phones that are smaller are available for cheaper now
* Lower LCD resolution may be a downside if you like the tinier, more defined font of newer phones
* None of the fancier new doohickeys that more expensive phones have (camera, IR port, speakerphone, etc.) but then again, it's cheaper - you get what you pay for!
* The search thing in the contacts is kind of annoying - you can press the first letter of the entry to get to it, but if you press "J", it will only show the entries that start with "J" and not K and L until you press the #5 key more than once
* The ugly brown faceplate they give you by default (this may have changed?) - I refuse to pay an extra $20 just to get a decent-looking faceplate off the Nokia webpage! You know they give you the ugly color so you'll be forced to buy a better one.A few words about other people's reviews... What do you mean it has no SIM card?! Of course it does. And one person complained about the SIM card sliding out... how can that happen when the battery is holding it in?! The volume range is great - it's not LOUD on the lowest setting - it's perfect on medium and if you're standing on the street you don't even need it up all the way. I have never had problems with my SIM card, freezing, nor the time being off as jack123487 had (a good example of a person getting a single bad product and generalizing this experience). The case is actually very UNslippery and quite grippy - haven't you ever held those phones with the glossy, slippery paint? Although the phone is light, it feels quite sturdy. The main thing to keep in mind is that most of the service problems people are complaining about have nothing to do with the phone - it is the service provider!

Synchronize your phone book, calendar and to-do list with your PC using SyncML over WAP
Phone book stores up to 500 contacts, with up to 5 numbers and 3 text entries per contact

Jabra EarBoom for phones with Universal 2.5mm Jack
Not Compatible w/ Sprint Touchpoint 1100

It could have been the best HF-set ever, however I've got a small problem: when used with 1800MHz and 900MHz GSM phone you can constantly hear a buzz in the earpiece, obviously generated in the cable from the antenna. I've tried to change the position of the cable and couldn't improve the sound. I've never had this sort of problem before so I wonder what's so differrent in this one...
Product features:
Increased hands-free safety
Economical and stylish
Superior voice transmission even when used outdoors
EarGel secures the EarSet in outer ear for hours of comfortable wear
Universally compatible with phones containing a 2.5-millimeter jack

What a nice surprise

I used to be an avid Nokia user until Sony Ericsson came out with a few feature-packed phones around 2003. Recently I checked out the cell phone market again, since it was time for me to get a new phone, and I decided to go back to Nokia again. Here's what I've found so far with the Nokia 3200 (with AT&T Wireless).PROS:
-- Camera phone; not perfect quality, but still fun and comparable to other camera phones (same quality as the Sony Ericsson T616)
-- Nice, intuitive menus; I didn't need to read the manual at all
-- The buttons are bright and feel nice
-- Responds well; I've found that other phones, like my Sony Ericsson, has a irritating delay when accessing many features, or if there are too many text messages in your Inbox; this Nokia does things right away, very little delay
-- EDGE technology; fast loading of WAP/mMode pages
-- Bright display; can be seen in daylight too, unlike some other phones with color displays
-- Easy to read fonts/text
-- Quirky, fun features, like a built-in mini flashlight, radio, and radio alarm clock
-- Battery life is great; I'm actually getting slightly more talk time than they stated (4 hours)!
-- AT&T Wireless overall has provided great customer service; great, quality service in my experience (nice voicemail features, etc.)
-- If this matters to you, this model has a lower radiation rating than most (www.cnet.com)CONS:
-- The plastic case can cheapen the appearance of the phone, in my opinion; but it is a neat feature if you want to play around with different templates
-- No volume control on the side of the phone, although you can adjust volume during a call by using the buttons on the front of the phone
-- Slightly lower resolution/quality screen than a few other phones, like the Sony Ericsson T616, for example
-- No bluetooth; although most people probably would not use this
Product features:
Nokia 3200 features a camera and great style
Unique features include FM radio and a flashlight
Large LCD color display with 128x128 pixels
Comes with a clear shell to show cut-out covers
Key features include speakerphone, Java, MMS, and an enhanced Series 40 interface

Bluetooth is great, pretty, other than that... not much

I bought this phone online from AT&T which was a BIG mistake. I had questions about a few things before the phone is shipped and I was put onhold for 3 hours! I tried several days calling their customer support and was put onhold for hours every time. When I did get to a person, I would be given many other phone #s to try and I ended up running in circles for nothing. So, I decided that I don't want to deal with this and just return the phone. It took me yet another few hours of calling before I can finally get the return label shipped to me!! The experience is horrific and I will NEVER buy anything from AT&T online.
Product features:
The T616 features a high-resolution screen with 65,536 colors
Comes with MMS, which allows you to compose your messages using images, sounds and text
Supports the Java and Mophun platforms, making the widest range of mobile games and applications available for you to download
Supporting Bluetooth, infrared and cable, the T616 is fully compatible with any computer. Your phone books and calendars will stay synchronized and updated
With a built-in camera and QuickShare software, you take pictures and store them on your computer or send them to friends all in a few simple steps

Plantronics Convert Hands Free Headset - M-175
Great, while it lasts

This headset is easy to use, clear for you (the user) and clear for your conversation partner. The features of the adjustable volume control, mic level, and mute make it perfect for doing just about anything while talking on the phone. I've enjoyed the headset so much, I'm about to purchase my 3rd one... which leads to a little problem. While the headset works great for about 6-9 months, static begins to plague the product. Eventually, I couldn't hear the person on the other end of the phone (dead silence), though they could hear me. I tried cleaning the contacts, etc... no luck. I've even considered taking my 900MHz panasonic apart and soldering the wires directly to the phone, but I think I'll just order another. DEFINITELY keep track of the warranty if you buy this headset. Then, you can collect and have Platronics fix the thing on their bill. Summary: Great function with sub-standard durability.
Product features:
Convertable to over-the-head to over-the-ear
Works with headset ready cordless phones
RF noise shield with adjustable boom
Includes 2.5mm plug
Microphone volume switch

Great Item, but battery life too short

Some comments, and they may appear jumbly.
First, this works. It comes in 2 parts, the part that goes on your ear, and the part that connects to the phone.
The part that goes on your ear is comfortable to me, and is 'cool'. It feels weard to be so wireless.
The part that goes to the phone is a pain to use. To plug it into the phone is just like any other wire headset, so don't look to save any time there. It comes with a clip to attach to your belt, like you put the phone and the wireless component on your belt? Cool, but not.Anyway..my real complaint is the battery life. The headset bat is fine..its that other part that runs out fast..I mean in a day. I charge it, use it for a 5 mins, then put it away..I grab it a day later to use it and its out of juice.
Product features:
Hands free, cord free headset
Works up to 30 feet away from phone
An answer/end button supports voice activation
Weighs less than one ounce
Works with non-bluetooth phones using an included adapter
