RIM Blackberry 6710 Phone (T-Mobile)
Awesome Portable Office

I get a bazillion corporate emails a day and I've gotten pretty sick of hauling the laptop home every evening and on weekends just to keep up. I knew a BlackBerry was a good solution but I had no idea how productive/addictive they were. (I guess they call them CrackBerries for a reason.)

I had an opportunity to try three different BlackBerries. The Cingular 6280 (screen too small), the Cingular 7280 (color screen was hard to read and it was too small) and the T-Mobile 6710. I stuck with the 6710 for the obvious reason. The screen size! It's perfect and very easy to read. The larger screen makes reading emails or the whole calender, especially in agenda view and browsing WAP websites a breeze.

Phone conversations are also crystal clear with no volume issues.

It also comes with a Desktop Cradle (neither Cingular BB came with a cradle). Only complaint is the cradle is RS232 instead of USB.

The battery life is also supurb.

All in all, it's an awesome device and it doesn't leave my side.

Product features:
Integrates with your existing email mailbox and address, so you only have one inbox and one address to manage
Quick and easy access to your address book, contacts, calendar, task list and memo pad.
Use your BlackBerry handheld to place and receive phone calls with an enhanced phone user interface
Retrieve wireless information anywhere on the nation's largest GSM/GPRS wireless network
Powerful wireless handheld-contains an embedded wireless modem, easy-to-use keyboard and backlit screen

Good Phone with Bluetooth

I guess it is a very good phone with a pretty nice interface and features. I can sync up my computer address book with the phone and vice-a-versa.

Also, the screen and the user interface is awesome. Although, I am with AT&T the signal breaks sometimes. But, overall it is a good phone with nice features,

Regards,

Looks Nice but Functions Poorly

I was really excited to buy a Treo 650. It was going to be my first foray into the world of smart devices, and the first time I dropped some serious cash for a phone.
What a mistake.

The Treo 650 looks great - everyone wants to play with it when they see it. The screen is bright and colorful (too bright to operate when driving at night), and you can SMS in a dark bar quite happily.

Unfortunately, you can't do much else.
Nobody can hear me. Whether I use the Treo like a normal phone, on speakerphone, or with a headset, it doesn't matter. I'm constantly screaming at people, repeating myself, and having people hang up on me because they just can't hear what I'm saying. I've upgraded the software, but it hasn't improved anything at all.
On top of that, the phone interface is really slow. I often find myself hitting dial, and seeing nothing happen. After 5 seconds, I'll hit dial again, and the end result is that it will register that second input as the default for the dial screen - hang up. Then I have to go through the dialing process again. It's so annoying.

I also got a 1 GB SD card, with the thought that I would use the Treo's mp3 player instead of my iPod on short trips around town. Well, now I only appreciate Apple more. Realplayer constantly skips reading from the SD card. And I won't go into the details, but even getting music onto the SD card to begin with was an arduous process; so is making a playlist. So much for that part of the plan.

Maybe if you intend to use a Treo as a PDA primarily, and don't really care about the phone part, it's a good buy. But if this is going to be your day to day phone, buy something else, like a phone. Palm just doesn't have the phone software up to a point where it's really functional, and for me at least, no amount of other toys or stylish looks makes up for that.
Product features:
Vibrant 320 x 320 touchscreen display
Built-in Bluetooth wireless technology
Buit-in digital camera with video capture
Innovative backlit QWERTY keyboard
Full access to Microsoft Outlook Exchange and POP3/IMAP4 email clients

Good Case

I just received this a few weeks ago and I love it! Unlike other cases out there, this one fits the phone perfectly. Most cases are too loose or too tight, this one is perfect. If your in the market for a case I would definitely recommend this one.

Fits like a glove
Removable, locking swivel-clip

An excellent product still waiting on excellent service

I bought this primarily to check my e-mail, and was pleased with how small the product was. This didn't make typing easy, but none of the messages I had to send were particularly long, and whatever annoyance this caused was made up for by how easy everything was to use. This product is still in its beginning stages, though, and the service that should be behind it just isn't there. I had some trouble getting my Outlook messages forwarded to the handheld, and although customer service is always helpful (and usually fairly prompt), there was something screwy going on with the network, and it wasn't possible for me to log in even with the correct password.I could, for some reason, get into the T-Mobile website - where the instructions said I could integrate the rest of my e-mail with the Blackberry - but it was impossible to get to the Blackberry Web Client from there, even with the help of the customer service representative.Although this may sound like an individual freak problem, it clearly points to a company that doesn't quite have its act together yet. The website is poorly thought out, and integrating the e-mail often requires a lot of legwork on your end, especially if you use Outlook and are primarily buying this for company messages. I had to get the company computer guy to make changes on the server to forward messages directly to my account, which was much more complicated than I'd hoped.People that have primarily accounts on Hotmail, Yahoo, and AOL should also watch out, since the Blackberry can't get mail from those accounts easily either. The 7230 is an excellent product: I hope they work out the bugs as it gets more popular. If this isn't an immediate necessity for you, I might wait a while to buy one until they do.
Product features:
Full-color screen with easy-to-use icons
International GSM service compatibility (tri-band: 900, 1800, 1900 MHz)
Organizer with PC synchronization
Attachment viewing for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WordPerfect, and Adobe PDF
Supports Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino

Great Phone

This phone is great for several reasons:1) The color display is dazzling.
2) The polyphonic sound is dazzling.
3) It is nice and compact. The flip mechanism is very sturdy. I love flipping this phone open and shut.
4) The menus are customizable enough to make navigation fairly easy and intuitive. I especially like the fact that you can adjust the sound settings without opening up the phone (choose between Soft, Loud, Vibrate, Vibrate and Ring, or Silent). You can set additional details of each of these categories by going into the preference menus and adjusting ring tones and volume.
5) I like having the camera, which is fine to embed pictures with people in your phonebook. The speakerphone, however, is a REALLY nice feature to have. Once you dial the call and select speakerphone, you can close up the phone and continue talking -- that's nice.Cons: It only comes with 3 demos of games. You can get more, though (that's their slogan: "Get More").
Product features:
Tri-band GSM capability
Large color display features 65,000 colors
Built-in VGA camera with zoom
Supports text messaging and wireless Internet (WAP 2.0)
Comes with 35 ringtones and supports MIDI and MP3 formats

Great inexpesive phone

This is my second phone, having replaced my Nokia 5190. The Nokia was a great phone with many miles on it, but it finally died. As a replacement, this phone is right up my alley - much smaller than the Nokia (just a bit bigger than a business card), phone functions without a bunch of frills I won't use, and the price is right (can't beat cash back!). Highly recommended!

Compact & Convenient Phone

I bought this phone from T-mobile, and i found this phone is really a good choice. My first phone is Sony Erricson T216, it is also small, but not so convenient to use.

Pros:
1. It is compact
2. very convenient to use
3. very good quality LCD
4. good quality of voice

Cons:
1. It is not convenient for infred connection
2. Games are not so interesting.

In all, if you just want a good & connevient phone, this is a good one.
