Motorola V400 Phone (Cingular)
Awesome Phone- Attractive

I love, love, love this phone. I've only been with Cingular for a week but its service in Alabama is above par in m opinion. I just left T-mobile after a year and a crappy phone (SE T300). To me, Cingular and T-Mobile are pretty close as far as service goes, but Cingular goes a step above with free mobile to mobile and rollover minutes. Now on to the phone:Pros:
Comfortable to hold (Not to big, but not to small)
Beautiful large display (65000+ colors)
Loud MP3/Midi Ringtones
Fast Web Access
Downloadable Games
Decent Camera w/ easy access!
Clear External Display
SPEAKERPHONE!!
Reasonable price (Free!) for such features
Subdued (though beautiful) lookLike all phones, there are a couple of things that stand for improvment: --comes with few ringtones (4 MP3, and a handful of basic polyphonic tones)
--the battery doesnt last too long (after extensive use, lasted for 1 day)
--polyphonic rings a little on the soft side
--speakerphone can only be activated after a call is connected.Overall I'm very happy with this phone, and with the ability to take pictures that are actually viewable on the screen, download new MP3 tones, games, and wallpaper, its the almost perfect phone for me. If you don't need bluetooth (MOTO V600) then GET THIS PHONE! :) It's awesome!Actual Rating: 4.45 stars
Product features:
Tri-band GSM phone is notable for its high-resolution display, VGA camera, and MP3 ringtones
Camera features 5MB of memory, self-timer, saves images for Picture Caller id
Large 65,000 color primary display for Internet browsing, game playing (Prince of Persia included)
External caller id display for call screening, phone book with 1000 entry capacity
Ringtone support MIDI and MP3 formats, as well as built-in MotoMixer ringtone composer

Motorola USB Data Kit for Motorola V Series and Timeport Series Phones
Bad Software, Bad to NO Instructions, S-L-O-W

This software is not worth the money. The paper instructions are WORTHLESS!!! Installed on Win2K and had to select a "port" phone was connected to - I have the USB model but USB was not a choice. Only COM ports. Finally found burried in some on-line piece a "note" to select a com port even if you have the USB model. Finally after getting a connection to the phone and setting up a phone book (no calendar) it took 24 MINUTES to "SYNC" 83 names and phone numbers. Come on, I could have hand punched them in in that time.I tried to find out the format for entering phone numbers. Didn't find a thing so I entered them as ###-###-####. After the first sync all the numbers were changed to ##########. This is in the desktop where the change was made, not the phone. I can accept it in the phone but "Why change the desktop?" Ever tried to read a 10 digit number straight. I can't.The terminolgy used is difficult to understand, the errors flashed on screen when you try to do something don't make any sense and at one point it kept telling me to close the phone book I was using but the close menu pick was grayed out. Go figure. At that point I was ready to give up.Bottom line, this software is a bunch of ____ and I'm going to try to return it. I talked to Motorola before I got it and they cautioned me about not buying it directly from Motorola at a higher price. They asked if [company] was going to support the product? My question back to them was "Why should it need any support?" Now I see why they said that.I have been at this for about 5 hours and finally have my 83 names and numbers in the phone. Each "sync" was over 20 minutes. And they charge money for this product, I call it Garbage!Don't buy this product unless you have v-e-r-y l-o-w blood pressure and a lot of time on your hands. The one good point is it's a perfect example of how NOT to do a piece of user software.
Product features:
Connect your Motorola phone to your Windows XP computer
Includes Starfish TrueSync software
USB connection
Also includes General Packet Radio Service modem manager for V60g, V66, and Timeport P280 phones

Beauty is dangerous and often dumb...tis true here

I am using this phone for the past one month. Though I read all the reviews about this phone I didnt think that Sony Ericsson could make such a bad phone. Agreed...It has all the features compiled in it...but what is the use of the phone if it doesnt have a good reception. (This is the worst of the phones in reception I have ever used). People might comeback and say reception is because of the area am in, but I checked with other nokia and samsung phones(of same service provider) in the same spot.My guy was the worst. Not just that, this feature packed phone is not able to stand the load of all the features. It just hangs and the only way out is to turn off and turn on the phone. This would be the worst thing you would ever like to do when you are in the mid of a call or searching for a number. The features might look tempting. But I would seriously advise anyone to think twice before buying this piece. I was totally disappointed by the quality of the phone. ( I am not writing this in a day or a week, I have used this phone for around a month).

PalmOne Treo 650 Docking Cradle Kit
Misleading

First of all, I LOVE the 650 however I wanted to get the cradle and use the data cable that came with the 650 with a second computer, my notebook. I ordered the cradle and the discription says it comes with a data cable. That is BS, it does not. It conmes with a power supply, which by the way includes all the international voltage adapters which I have no use for and which just add cost. It DOES NOT come with a data cable. It requires that you use the data cable that came with the Treo. That means I have to remove the cable from the cradle and from the neat wire bundle I use and then use it seperatly for my notook. OK, so I will just buy an additional data cable however this product is:
1. Misleading as it does not have a data cable I need
2. Wasteful as many of us have no need for the included voltage adaptors for places most of us will never use a 650.
Product features:
Showcase your Treo 650 smartphone in style, and get great functionality from a single device
Convenient pedestal recharges batteries and synchronizes data at the touch of a button
Cable and power supply can detach from cradle and snap directly onto your smartphone
Uses new Multi Connector by palmOne for compatibility
Includes voltage adapters for the U.S., Europe and Australia

Good little phone

This phone is great because of its huge list of features. Data can be sent in so many ways by this phone that it can connect to almost any other device in someway. It has bluetooth, email capability AND infrared. Not to mention text messaging and wireless web. The camera doesn't take high quality pictures but for quick snapshots it's pretty good. The bad things I have found are that it is often difficult to see the display in direct sunlight, and the menus are sometimes slower that I'd want them to be. Overall though, its inexpensive, has good battery life and is packed with features and I'd recommend it.

Large 128x160 pixel 65.000 color screen
MMS for composing messages using images, sounds and text
Supports Java and Mophun platforms for the widest range of mobile games and applications
Supports Bluetooth, infrared and cable for PC synchronization

Pretty good phone!

I was a little hesitant about buying this phone after the reviews I read. But after seeing it at a store, I purchased it on amazon and haven't regretted it! I've had it for about 2 months now, and I've never had a problem with the phone freezing. Reception is also great, here in nyc and also whenever I've traveled elsewhere. The camera feature is fun, but I don't really use it all that much. I do have pictures of some friends and it shows up on the screen when they call, so that's a nice feature. What I do love is the bluetooth capabilities which lets me use a jabra wireless headset. I LOVE THAT! I can go about cooking, or whatever else, while talking on the phone. Highly recommend this! The wonders of technology! The small size of this phone is also a plus. It's very sleek and has a ton of features. The only slight negative is the battery life. It's not horrible but it's not the best either. This is probably due to the features like camera, color screen, and bluetooth capability which drain the battery. I wouldn't switch all those features for a longer-lasting battery though. I charge my phone every day or every other day depending on how much I use it so it's not that bad.All in all, I highly recommend this phone. I know some reviewers have had a problem but I have nothing to complain about!

Motorola-Disasterola

I am warning all potential buyers that this phone is over-hyped and extremely disappointing. I hate this phone. I bought it 9 months ago and have had nothing but troubles. I needed a GSM for my travels, and this was one of the only ones on the USA market at the time. Thus far, I have returned by mail it five times! The signal is poor, no matter where you are; the camera has broken down on every one that I have had through the warranty. And dropped calls? This phone specializes in these. DO NOT BUY THIS DISASTER. This is the most expensive phone I have ever had and a complete nightmare. I hate that Motorola will not reimburse me or upgrade this awful product.
Product features:
Use the colorful customizable external display to identify specific calling groups and events.
VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, large 65,000 color display supports video playback
Integrated Bluetooth for wireless data connectivity, quad band operation allows use on GSM networks worldwide

LG G4015 Phone - Next Generation (AT&T)
Decene Phone

I love my 4015 except for a few things:
1. My calls get dropped a lot. But that could be AT&T/Cingular.
2. The wallpaper sucks. There are really goofy pictures and not an option to have just a blank screen. I just downloaded another picture b/c I was sick of looking at a sailboat.
3. I would like to have a vibrate option for all volumes. Right now you can have vibrate in silent mode or on the highest volume, but nowhere in between.
Overall, I really like my phone. It's small, yet packed with features.
Product features:
Sleek and unique, the G4015 phone from LG offers the perfect combination of style and innovation.
You'll have a hard time deciding what is most attractive about the G4015: its good looks, high-end features, or affordable price.
Ultra Lightweight and Compact
Dual Band (850/1900 MHz)
Includes phone and travel charger.

NOT the phone for those who love to text

This phone is driving me insane! I haven't had any serious problems with this phone, but it does have one serious pitfall. It's SLOW!!!! It takes a second to type in a letter and the "predictive input" is frustrating. It has also shut down TWICE because i had been typing too fast on the AIM program. lame!!!Everyone who is drawn to the value, camera, and color BEWARE of what lies beneath. Try it out first. Enter a number, or send a text messege.I havent had problems with T-Mobile yet, although the service is "area-consicous." you have to check to see if it works well in your area before you buy it or esle you might find yourself stranded w/o service.also, certain things to this phone dont seen intuative to me. quite unrefined.
Product features:
Tri-band GSM capability
Large color display features 65,000 colors
Built-in VGA camera with zoom
Supports text messaging and wireless Internet (WAP 2.0)
Comes with 35 ringtones and supports MIDI and MP3 formats
