Motorola RAZR V3 Phone (Unlocked) + HS815 Bluetooth Headset
Disgruntled Nokia customer

I am a fan of Nokia, but opted for Motorola and the sleek new design of the Razr V3. Looks great.
But that is about it! I have been using Nokia for many years now, and have never seen such a short battery life on a phone before. The menu seems easier than previous Motorola phones I have seen before. But then the phone goes into a system freeze and you have to "reboot". I would not recommend this phone for any Nokia user (YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!), and approach with caution if you are thinking of getting this phone. I think I could have gotton the top range NOKIA for what I paid for this motorola.

Logitech Mobile Freedom Bluetooth Headset
worth the price

After reviewing a set of bluetooth headset devices, I settled for this one. Works great and the voice quality is good. Pairing it with my nokia 6600 was real easy. Never tested the windstop technology.
There is one glitch, the voice dial feature does not work when my phone's keypad is locked.
Product features:
No additional phone dongle needed to enjoy 10 meters (30 feet) of range. It also works with your Bluetooth-compatible PC. And Bluetooth v1.2 gives you adaptive frequency hopping, quick connect time, and improved audio quality.
WindStop technology enables clear conversations in adverse conditions by reducing the disruptive effects of wind noise, including automobile air conditioners.
Rotating clip conveniently fits either ear, and lightweight soft foam ear pad stays comfortable even after long talk sessions.
Enjoy up to 7 hours of talk time or up to 250 hours of standby time between charges.
Call/answer button on the headset lets you conduct calls without having to pick up the phone. The Logitech Mobile Freedom Headset also supports several features built into many handsets, such as voice dialing, three-way calling, and m

Samsung X105 Phone (T-Mobile)
Does exactly what is supposed to do

I made a mistake initally bu buying a Sony/Ericcson T616 from AT&T, it was returned 2 days later due to horrible reception in NYC. I bought the X105 from T-Mobile and have no complaints. No dropped calls, clear reception in buildings. The phone is feather light, has great battery time and does what a phone is supposed to do-MAKE CALLS!. My only complaint is that when the keypad is locked, it is sometimes difficult to unlock as the screen is almost completely dimmed.
Product features:
Large color display supports 65,000 colors
Supports downloading personalization features Megatones and Wallpapers
Comes equipped with a powerful mobile version of AOL Instant Messenger
Equipped with embedded picture messaging, which allows you to receive picture messages from other T-Mobile camera phones
Dual Band GSM 900 / GSM 1900

OK Phone

The samsung x475 flip phone is ok. However, it does have quite a few drawbacks. The battery life is short, the reception isn't the best, and the phone is too smaill and hard to open. This was my first phone with T-Mobile and since then I have bought a new Motorola V330 which is much better. Plus-I don't recomend that you buy any Samsung phone from T-Mobile because all they do if you have problems with the phone is the ship you a refurbished phone-not a new one. T-Mobile on top of that has the worst costumer service. I either recomend Verizon or Cingular!!
Product features:
Compact, stylish design with caller ID on the external color screen
Stay in touch using AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ messaging
VoiceMail, caller ID, conference calling, call forwarding, call waiting, call hold, built-in paging

hmmm

Not much of a review here so sorry. The phone is not out so its kind of hard to review. I get the feeling we are all a little bothered that the treo 650 is not much better then the treo 600. Very disapointed. Wanted to let people know that I am going to wait around a month or so for the "Imate Jam". Check it out. 1.3 camera, fast processor...

Plus last I heard treo will be droping the palm os in future versions of the phone. Huge antenna. Crappy camera. Why!!

Buyer Beware

If it hadn't died on me twice in twelve days (we're talking two different handsets in less than a month!) this would have been the greatest phone ever. I concur with the editorial review. With both bluetooth and IR technology integrated into the phone, there's very little it can't do. The menu was very easy to navigate, the camera was amazing, the graphics and color are beyond comparison and the screen is huge to boot. The MS Outlook synchability was also really handy. I started beaming all of my Palm v.cards into it as well (one at a time, sadly) and the interface worked without any problems. Setting up my archaic desktop to receive bluetooth was even hassle free. Overall it had the potential to replace my palm pilot, digital camera and gameboy (yes, you can download a gameboy emulator onto the phone) and be a phone with great reception on top of that.
HAD IT NOT DIED.
TWICE.
Barring its premature death(s) the one thing that took some getting used to was the rotary style keypad, not so much for dialing numbers, but for text messaging, which if you don't do much of, really isn't a problem. It did take a little time to acclamate myself to it, but like all things, we learn and adapt. And then our phones die. Twice. (Did I mention it died?) Specifcally, the screen kept blinking on and never got past the Nokia "Logo". Same problem, both phones. The current working theory is that the gameboy emulator asked a little too much of the phone and caused some kind of short circuit. Which I suppose is valid, but I would still question why the phone would allow applications to be installed on it that were beyond its capacity to handle.
Another design irritation was that entering new numbers automatically defaulted to phone memory and not my SIM card. This is only a problem now, as I am no longer using my dead phone(s) and wishing I'd saved those now inaccessable numbers to the SIM card instead. The issue of size is also valid one, personally I found it to fit my hands well and not be too bulky. I'm also kind of tall, so fitting it in my pocket wasn't a problem either, considering it more or less replaced my pda and various other space consuming items. The phone comes with a memory chip but is also upgradeable, which is cool. If memory serves, one reviewer boasted a full length movie on his phone. More power to him. I can't get Legend of Zelda to funciton properly and he's watching Titanic. Shows to go ya.

Wireless phone with integrated video/digital camera
3.4 MB on board storage, MultiMediaCard expansion slot
Oversized display for MP4 video playback

Motorola V300 Phone (T-Mobile)
Hello Moto...Wake up Samsung!!!

Motorola hasn't released many good new flip phones in the last several months but that's changing. I purchased two new V300 phones just before Thanksgiving and my wife and I love them.Very easy to use, the color screen is crisp, and I've not had ANY problems at all with the software, solid as a rock. So many improvmements over my old phone, the specs tell the story, built-in camera, speakerphone, great sounding ringtones, etc. The phone has a solid, durable feel. Motorola spends a great deal of time and money making sure they have a rugged phone that holds up over time.I had AT&T previously and while the service had great coverage the quality of the call was not always that good, must be the old TDMA network. Ever since I switched to T-Moble the calls have been very clear, even with only 1 or 2 bars of signal strength! The GSM network is superior when it comes to clarity.Overall, the phone is a great value and it works with all my old V60 accessories. For the money (I paid $100 after rebate) you can't find a better, more durable phone. Highly Recommended.
Product features:
Tri-band GSM capability
Large color display features 65,000 colors
Built-in VGA camera with zoom
Supports text messaging and wireless Internet (WAP 2.0)
Comes with 35 ringtones and supports MIDI and MP3 formats

Kyocera Slider V5 MTV Edition Phone (Virgin Mobile)
Great for teens

This is a great phone. It's got some nice basic PDA functions (schecule keeping, calculators, etc.) for people who do not wish to spend extra money on an actual PDA.The games are decent (Tetris is always good) but I haven't been able to find any downloadable games at this time.I'm not sure how to access the wireless web aside from the *MTV and VirginXtras pages (though I've read that it CAN be done) but I'll keep trying. The only REAL complaint I have with the phone is the antenna. When I was pushing the antenna down (three days after purchase) the cap popped off (the large piece that keeps the antenna from getting stuck inside of the phone) and the antenna got stuck inside of the phone. The cap did not BREAK off but became detatched which is strange because I figured that the whole antenna (cap and all) would be one piece.Overall this phone is very cool and I will enjoy it once I can replace my broken one :)
Product features:
No prepaid minutes included. Comes with charger.
Unique sliding design - phone slides open with the push of a thumb
Full-color screen
Downloadable, polyphonic ringtones and vibrate alert
2-way text messaging, 1-touch and voice dialing

Got this headset for my birthday. It is very compfortable and the quality of the reception is great. Everyone says I sound better on the headset than I do when I am not using it. It is a bit awkward the way it clips to your ear but I am getting used to it.

I would highly recommend it.
