Sony Ericsson T610 Phone (T-Mobile)
Amazing Phone with cool features and amazing amazon service

I have had a lot of phones over 3 years (from nokia 3390, 3395, siemens, samsun ngh625 and lastly T616) and now i just recently bought two 610's. They are a piece of art. I have never loved any phone this much. And for the price (100 dollars back in pocket) there is no comparison. The ring tones are amazing, the contacts manager is just great. I love the bluetooth and sync it with my laptop all the time with my outlook. I love the feature of associating photos taken from the camera with the contacts so that when you get a call the photo pops up.Sound quality and reception has been comparable to most phones i had (i was on cingular and just moved to tmobile). The buttons might be a little small for someone with huge hands but they are fine. The gprs also works great to surf and email from the phone or surf the web from your bluetooth pc.The IRDA also works well but why use the slow connection when you have faster bluetooth.I have tried syncing between phones,pc,pda and everything works great.A must have if this is your first or the 50th

Motorola HF800 Bluetooth Portable Speaker
Great Product, but Could Use Improvements

I have been using my Bluetooth Speaker for about 6 months now, and I am very happy with the quality of the calls that I have been able to make. It works even if my telephone is in the trunk, but the range is limited such that when I leave my car and enter my office, it disconnects and shuts down automatically (if you go out of range, it does not stay on) and does not wear down the battery if I forget to turn it off.

But that leads to the issue of the battery. While battery life is fine, my unit stays in my car most all of the time. For that reason, it would actually be far more convenient if this little device plugged directly into the cigarette lighter (perhaps with battery backup) and never needed recharging. It does not seem to charge while in use (plus being visor mounted, this would be inconvenient and difficult), and my car will not charge when the car is off. So I have to remember to bring the unit in on weekends to recharge it, otherwise it will eventually die on me.

Product features:
High Quality Audio.
The crisp sound quality is enabled by sophisticated duplex, echo and noise reducing technology.
Plus, a powerful 1 Watt speaker with volume control ensures that everyone connected can hear the conversation, even in noisy environments like a car.
Ease of Use. One button operation powers the device and adjusts volume.
The multi-function button controls three-way calling and call hold features to quickly place, receive and end calls.

Decent phone, too many flaws.

First off, I have to consider that I only paid $150 for two of these phones. That was the Sprint deal at the time, and for that price, the phone is excellent. Although, if you paid any more for this phone, you might want to reconsider your choice. Let's consider defects...

1. No SMS text messaging. Sprint charges you as wireless internet every time you get a text message! Unforgivable!

2. I've had to trade in these phones twice because of weird defects and flaws. My phone would just turn off randomly, and when I brought it back up, all my downloaded ring tones and screensavers would be either 1. missing, 2. completely switched out, or 3. all the saved settings to phonebook names would be switched. Take this for example... when my girlfriend would call me, a picture of my father would come up and it would play "Super Mario" as opposed to "My Boo" or some other trendy song (sorry, I don't care to think of something). Annoying!

3. It seems that if you are getting close to full memory with your pictures, it will just delete your pictures or say there is an error. This seemed to happen even more so when I really wanted a certain picture. It seems to keep all the ones I really didn't care about and delete the ones I knew I could never take again. LAME.

4. This phone knows how to charge you for more minutes. I closed my phone once at 00:14:58 as the talk time, and literally watched it click up to 00:15:00 with my phone completely closed. Deceitful, deceptive, and double-crossing!

4?. Besides that, I have also dialed a number with 4 bars in service and it will just switch to "Analog Roam" and charge me roaming fees. Treachery!

5. Battery life sucks. Now, I'm not sure if it's any better, but the guys at Sprint "hooked it up" (yes, they told me that) with an n "extended life" battery. One hour of talk time is all this phone will allow with an upgraded battery. Shameful.

Ok, ok, so maybe all I've talked about are this phone's flaws. If you can live with those, then you will be a loyal fan of this phone. I can't think of anything else that this phone does, or doesn't do, and for the most part, it's a pretty solid phone. Internet works fine, pictures are decent quality, features... if working... are great for an average phone user. If you want features like email and Ready-Link... look elsewhere. Not a great phone for power users, but it doesn't boast that it is. I stand by the 3 star rating, even though after almost 2 years with this phone I've almost lost my mind. It's been a nice 2 years, but I'm in dire need of something that works. Then again, my father, who currently owns the other phone that we purchased, loves his.

Let's just say that when this phone is working properly, it's a great phone. When it's not, it makes for an incredibly annoying situation, to say the least.

OVERALL.... DECENT PHONE-TOO MANY FLAWS FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO DO MORE THAN JUST MAKE AND RECEIVE CALLS.

it keeps breaking

I'm on my second one of these, because the click-tab on the first one broke. It's not more than a month later, and this one has broken the same way. Six dollars may not be much money, but it should buy me a higher quality product than this. And I can't get the clip separately from the holster. If I could get them separately, I would just buy ten of the clips at two bucks a pop, because it isn't the holster that keeps breaking!

Not a phone

The phone functionality is terrible. The ear speaker cannot be heard unless it is positioned directly over the ear. There is crackling distortion in most phone calls when you make calls with the unit held to your ear. Soft resets are regularly needed, once every 10 hours of use or so, to get the unit to respond. The phone begin and end call buttons sometimes fail to work and never work quickly so you find yourself hitting them several times which leads to redialing and more havok. The microsoft operating system keeps even the 400mhz machine struggling to complete easy tasks like starting up the phone application. I don't think the many faults would be a reasonable compromise for any tech head - no matter how much you really want convergence. It's also VERY cheaply made.
