Sony Ericsson T68is Phone - Next Generation (AT&T)
Amazing!

I live in San Francisco, California and I have used this phone with Cingular, T-Mobile, and AT&T. I own the AT&T version and have noticed that it was not the phone but the service provide that had problems. At&T wireless just started their GSM network. Cingular and T-Mobile have had about 10 years of providing service to consumers. AT&T will hopefully advance in the spread of their GSM network. This phone was one of the very first Bluetooth phones availible. It may not have polyphonic ringtones but it makes up with the speed it connects via GPRS to the internet. This is one of the best world phones I have owned yet. Sony Ericsson has made a huge increase of purchases and hopefully will be competing with Nokia soon! If you come across this phone, BUY IT!
Product features:
GPRS connection for quick Internet access
Bluetooth connectivity for wireless data transfer between other Bluetooth devices
Color display with customizable screen savers
Easy operation and menu navigation with joystick
Includes battery, rapid charger, and handsfree headset

Not worth the money

I bought this and returned it the next day. It,s very light but feels very cheap. I could hear every one on it but they could bearly hear me. If I went out side forget it. I used it with a jabra bluetooth adapter, I thought it maybe that. So We paird it with a motorola V710 what is advertised on the head set box. just as bad plus static and break up. I have tried alot of wired headsets and the ones with the extended mics are I think the way to go. Having a mic in your ear just does not work. I would not recommend this at all. plus it has that crapy charging port that seems to fail on majority of the Motorola phones.
Product features:
Simply turn the headset on, place it on your ear and a Bluetooth® link is automatically established
The multifunction button allows you to place, receive or end calls, all with the push of a button!
With Bluetooth wireless technology, devices work together even up to 10 meters (30 feet) away.
The overall compact size and lightweight (less than 20g) allows for easy storage when not in use
Lengthy talk and standby times include up to 6 hours of talk time or 100 hours of standby time from a single full charge

Kyocera K9 Prepaid Phone (Virgin Mobile)
This K9 Won't Bite

This is a nice, sleek looking phone from a simple pay as you go wireless provider. Virgin Mobile uses the SPRINT PCS network and charges you as follows...$.025 a minute for the first 10 minutes of the day, then $0.10 a minute after that. Or, $0.10 a minute plus $0.35 a day. You pay $0.10 per text message you send and it is free to receive them. You must top off your account at least $20 every 90 days to keep your account active, but you keep the minutes you have already purchased. If you don't use your phone a lot your looking at $6.66 a month for a cell phone. How simple is that? No other hidden fees involved.

The Kyocera K9 is being replaced by the K10 with a color screen and more features. This phone is a bargain price wise compared to the K10. You can send and receive text from other phones or email addresses. There are tons of downloadable stuff from the web site as well. Other features include a built in flashlight, jack for an ear piece and one of the games is get this, TETRIS! Anytime your curious about how much money you have left on your account you can check your balance right on the phone. It takes about 5 seconds for the account information to be zapped back to you in a text message. You can also access your account on the web site.

If your like me who got tired of spending over $50 a month for cell phone minutes I never used, this is for you. I like the convenience of having a phone, but do not have a need to have it glued to my ear all day. Virgin Mobile pay as you go is simple and in my case money saving. Not to mention this particular phone is a bargain in price and stylish too!
Product features:
Dazzling blue backlighting
Palm-friendly size and shape
2-way text messaging
Download actual song clips
Built-in flashlight and 3 pre-loaded games

3 Piece Starter Kit for LG 6100
Know what you're getting

I had already bought a 20$ leather case for the LG 6100 from the retail store where I got the phone. I almost returned it when I saw this product offered at 14.99 to include not only the leather case but also the car adapter and ear bud. Glad I didn't return the Verizon leather case. I was disappointed with the quality of the carrying case included in this kit. It instantly felt "cheap" once I opened the package. The leather quality is poor. Even if you overlook that aspect, good luck trying to get the phone inside of it without either ripping it or breaking your phone. Thirdly, once we finally fit the phone inside of it, the phone simply wouldn't achieve a full close. The case kept it slightly open. (I guess with some stretching it might eventually close better). Both my wife and I instantly decided the 20$ verizon case was a keeper. Higher quality leather and better fit.
As for the car charger adapter, we also experienced initial problem getting it to plug in the phone. After many attempts we finally managed to get it to get in. Interestingly, once we managed to do so the first time, it worked better with subsequent attempts. Must have loosened enough. We also had a problem getting the plug to stay put in the lighter adapter and took lots of joggling around before it finally stayed secure enough to keep the "red charge light" on.
The ear bud was the one piece that worked instantly without a problem.
In conclusion, the carrying case was instantly retired and will not be used. The lighter adapter is mediocre but works. The ear bud is fine.
All in all and for 14.99$, it was well worth the money.
Product features:
Includes Cigarette lighter adapter, Leather carrying case and Hands free earbud
Car cord powers your phone and recharges the battery while on the go
Genuine full-grain leather carrying case with clear plastic front protects the display and keypad
Comfortable earbud, mini shirt clip optimizes microphone placement & eliminates cord weight pull
Compatible with LG VX6100

Sony Ericsson T610 Phone (T-Mobile)
you will regret buying this phone (I did)

I gave this product 2 stars because of the following flaws:
- (Very) short battery life
- Lower than average reception
- Very slow about trying to find signal after it lost it
- Low res camera
- Usability issues with menus
- Screen scratches very easilyIt gets 2 stars and not 1 because of the following qualities:
- Nice small size
- Nice screenI owned the Sony Ericsson T300 and decided it was time to upgrade. I was excited about getting this phone but it's half a year after and I wish I hadn't. The battery life of this phone is very short. I have to charge it aproximately every 3 days (a friend has the same phone and has the same problem). One of the reasons might be that it has very bad reception and may be wasting a lot of power trying to find service (I didn't have that problem with the T300).The camera of the T300 was able to take pictures at 640x480(!!), the camera of the T610 can only take a max of 320x240. Quite disappointing. As for the menus, you can use the number keys to quickly jump to an option in the list. Unfortunately, the designers forgot to number the list! You can either count the items and figure out the number of the item you want, at which point you may as well scroll.

PCS Phone palmOne Treo 650 (Sprint)
I used to like my Sprint Treo 650

If you plan on using the Treo 650 to listen to music then don't buy this device. If you plan to listen to music and use it with Sprint then definately DO NOT buy this device.

The jack lasted a year for me, for some it didn't even last that long. Instead of stereo you'll get only one side. The jack problem may even affect the outer speaker. Check the internet and see what others have said.

The camera has no protection like some converged devices which rotate the camera lens for protection.

Thankfully, the memory problem has been patched but I doubt that it really uses memory as efficiently as it should thereby reducing the amount of programs you can really save.

If you do buy this device then please, Please, get the equipment replacement package - you'll need it. Please remember that when you get the Sprint replacement package that you'll be shelling out an additional $50.00 in addition to your monthly $5.00 payments. Sure, the Sprint contract mentions a $10.00 replacement option but they don't tell you that the subcontracting company, Lockline, charges $50.00 and not $10.00.

Service at the Sprint store? Nope! The clerks don't even know what a Treo 650 is. They'll imply that you shouldn't be listening to music on the Treo 650 and that you are an idiot for doing so.

I used to really like my Treo 650. Sadly the memory problem, the messed up stereo jack, and the Sprint service have greatly reduced the value of this device. My new Treo is being shipped but now I can only wonder how long this new device will last before the jack craps out on this one.

Sony Ericsson T616 Phone - Next Generation (AT&T)
Power in a tiny (not tinny) package

This is a sleek little phone. Wonderful to the touch - smooth finish. Almost too smooth, as it tends to slip out of your hand or pocket if you're not careful. Camera is simple to use, photos look good if there is enough light. I have the bluetooth synched with my Lexus - makes the car my phone when I'm in the car, with the phone still in my pocket.
With such a big screen in such a little phone, something had to give; that would be the size of the keys, which I have to press with my fingernails (I have big hands).
The menus are easy and intuitive. Everything is easy to find. The color screen is really hard to see in daylight. In a room it's great, but look for a shady spot to read it outdoors.
All in all, I'd buy it again, mostly for the way it feels and fits elegantly in my pocket.
Product features:
The T616 features a high-resolution screen with 65,536 colors
Comes with MMS, which allows you to compose your messages using images, sounds and text
Supports the Java and Mophun platforms, making the widest range of mobile games and applications available for you to download
Supporting Bluetooth, infrared and cable, the T616 is fully compatible with any computer. Your phone books and calendars will stay synchronized and updated
With a built-in camera and QuickShare software, you take pictures and store them on your computer or send them to friends all in a few simple steps

Good basic phone

I got this phone by signing up with Working Assets (Sprint network) last August. The phone does well for basic features like address book, calling, and calendar. It has a nice monochrome display and the caller ID line can be read with the phone closed. Additionally, you can turn off the ringer with the exterior volume button, allowing you to easily cut off a call you don't want to take. It doesn't have any fancy screen or internet stuff, but that wasn't an issue for me. My original phone did break because the D-pad got jammed. It was replaced for free and I've had no problems since. The reception hasn't been great, particularly indoors, but when I'm inside I usually have a land line around anyway. There does seem to be this weird 1-second delay in speaking, a problem I've had with both phones, so I'm not sure if it's a Sprint issue or the phone itself. You kind of adjust after a while.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the phone.
Product features:
Compact flip design with silver & blue finish
External caller ID display
GPS positioning built into phone
Text-messaging capability & full PIM functions
Includes Lithium-ion battery, desktop charger & user documentation
