Pros: This is a great phone. It can do everything you want, from the direct connect to calling, speakerphone or not. But is also has Java apps, web access, and text messaging.
The color screen is bright and easy to read. Unlike other Nextel phones (I had the i530), this one has a nice screen to see the number calling before you open the phone. You can answer it with the flip ,or still decide whether to take it or not.
I have the bronze, it is a nice color, and attractive little phone.
The DC is great, volume levels super, and it is nice Nextel is finally providing smaller phones.
Cons: Buttons are a little small for big guy like me, and while the battery life is good, does need to be charged about every night..not a problemo.
Product features:
Nextel's smallest phone ever
Incoming and Outgoing cellular audio as well as voice memos with the Voice Recorder
Full Color Display and Speakerphone
One Touch access to Direct-Connect
Comes with a Slim Bettery, Battery Door, Carry Holster, and 600 Contact SIM Card

I have had this phone for about a year now. And my happiness with it has gone downhill since day one.
First of all, the reception seemed to get worse and worse. Now its to the point I cannot wait for my contract to end so I can get a new one. And when I talked to the t-mobile guys in the mall, they said that this phone is known to have crappy reception. Coulda used that info a year ago.
Second, its way way way too quiet. Even at full volume, it will not even come near comparing any moderately new phone out there (namely the motorola V300 and V600 that my girlfriend and roommate have, respectively). This becomes very annoying if you aren't hiding by yourself in a box where it is very quiet. But you won't have to worry, because you won't get strong enough reception to make a call anyway, whew!
Minor things. The phone is easily scratched. After 11 months, 60% of the time when I press the 6 key, it punches in two 6s which is real nice. Battery life doesn't really last more than 3 days under less than average use (I use like 200 or 300 of my min a month, tops). Camera is blah, screen is too small. Did I mention the reception is really bad? Cuz it is.
This phone was great when I had free t-zones, but T-mobile took them away from me. :-( It was the only thing I was enjoying on my phone.
BTW, as far as my other friends have noticed, no one has issues with T-mobile service here in East Lansing, MI.
So, if I can tell anyone reading these things one thing, spring the extra few bucks for a flip phone from anyone but Sony. Seems I have gotten what I paid for. Oh well, live and learn. Hopefully the V300 treats me better

I have had to return my E-715 twice because it appears randomly the screen gets horizontal bleaching patterns across the screen. Dont believe me? Do a Google search on "e-715 screen lines".
Of course T-Mobile and Samsung both tell you that you're crazy and that you're the only person who has experienced this problem.
Otherwise the features on the phone are great, the IR port is great to sync to your computer, and the LED light you can use as a flashlight is the best feature on the phone.

I thought that this phone was crap the first time my sister got it, but then I realized that quality overthrew aesthetics.
So first, when you look at it, yeah you probably thought the same thing I thought. It's ugly! it looks like a cheap plastic flimsy little piece of crap, right? well, it's actually quite a quality phone, no matter how ugly it is. The phone is small, thin, compact, and lightweight, which are big plusses on phones these days.
The external screen is okay, it's small, monochrome, and easy to see. basically no more use for it than to see whos calling. When you open the phone up, the screen dissapoints you. Because you have all this space to put a big decent sixed screen and there's this little 1 inch square screen. I'm not kidding.. it's very small. I think the earpiece takes up more space. But anyway, it's for people who want a simple phone, and only a phone.
The keys are great, they are lit up very well, very textile, and easy to press. Menus are a tad confusing, but you'll get the hang of them. When you're reading text messages or something it's very easy to read because dispite the screen's small size, it's very bright and clear. A plus for people who have a hard time seeing small screens.
One thing that really impressed me with this phone is it's speaker. I thought it was just a basic phone but it also has speakerphone, which is wierd because a small minimal phone like this having speakerphone is a bit redundant, but whatever. The speaker is located on the bottom, and it really sounds great. My sister downloaded a real MP3 ringtone on her phone and it sounds like a real radio playing when it's ringing. Not like those other phones where the ringtone sounds drowned out, it's really loud and soo soo clear. I'm impressed with the sound quality.
The phone is moderately priced, my sister's is a cingular and I think it costed about 50 bucks with the plan after rebates and over 150 without rebates.
Anywho, it's a small simple phone for people who want a quality low-end phone for a low price and not much more. Probably a really reliable phone verses a big fancy camera phone that works better as a camera than it does for a phone.
If you're looking for simple phone and nothing more, look no further. If you're the type who likes more visual pleasure and high-end featuers, there's better.

When I went on line to activate my new Nokia Tracfone, their web site informed me that - based on my zip code, which I most certainly do know! - I lived in a different city than I imagined. It kept "correcting" my address and demanding that I confirm its error, and would not let me proceed with activation unless I did this.So I called their 800 customer service line, although that meant giving up the bonus minutes for on line activation (and I really, really like doing things on line whenever possible, anyway). I found myself talking with a pleasant young woman whose foreign accent was so pronounced that we had a lot of trouble understanding each other. She did her best to help me, but eventually informed me that the phone was defective.I was actually relieved. Back it goes. And I'm off to get a conventional cell phone from a carrier with a local office.
Product features:
Phone comes with 10 free minutes upon activation, $100 bonus airtime offer, headset, battery, and charger
Simple-to-use navigation buttons and graphical screens
Large 5-line screen

Up to 180 minutes of talk time and 200 hours of digital standby time

This phone has all the bells and whistles but they are no good if you can't hear the person on the other end. I had this phone for LESS THAN one week and I am returning it. Unless you are indoors, with absolutely no noise, you cannot hear on this phone. I read this before but did not believe it.

LOOK at it! Seriously, you'll have the nicest looking phone around if you've got this in your hand, and it has every feature you'll need!...
ONE thing. My best friend had this phone and it really was fantastic. Picture quality was really very good... only thing was that it would kinda pull the scene in around the edges... it looks like you're looking out a bubble window.. if that makes any sense, BUT the picture within this little circular layer of fuzz was SO shockingly clear and crisp.
The other thing... she bought a warranty for it..... but it seriously just DIED RIGHT after her warranty went out. She really didn't have it for all that long.... and the "phone-guy" even admitted to that happening to a lot of people, so a word of advice: if you're buying this model, get a good warranty, and don't expect it to last after that! Okay? No joke. Also... when you are switching phones... the SIM card doesn't allow you to transfer all of your phonebook numbers at once! You can only copy them one at a time! AND! You lose ALL of your pictures. *tear*

I ordered this car charger for my sidekick II because it was a very good price, considering t-mobile charges $25 for one. It arrived, and was totally wrong. The box says "Vehicle Power Charger for Danger Sidekick II," but the charger inside is a WALL CHARGER to plug into a home outlet, and it fits nowhere into my sidekick! 100% wrong. But from T-mobile.com, at least then you know they will get your order right.
Product features:
Coil cord reduces tangles and extends beyond 5 feet
Quickly charges most batteries in 1 to 2 hours
Replaceable fuse provides lasting operation
Protects against short circuit & overcharging
Compatible with Danger Sidekick, Sidekick II

Maybe I was too generous in giving 4 stars - should have been 3 or 3 and a half...
The phone is very attractive and light weight. But the battery drains so quickly - Despite of their claim of 540 minutes of talk time and 300 hours of stand-by time, After using for a day, the battery meter becomes yellow short bar - warning sign that the battery is almost completely drained (talk about 2 hours and stand-by for 22 hours).
Also, the voice volume is not as loud - I live and work in Manhattan as a sales rep, meaning most of the calls I receive and make are done so outside. Even with the loudes setting, I sometimes can't hear caller's voice. Also, several people made comments that the background noise level that they hear are excruciatingly loud - I never had this problem with my former Nokia or Motorola phones.
I am also not so thrilled about Cingular - their customer service closes so early during the weekdays (I believe it's around 9pm) and they are closed on Sundays. All other carriers that I had (Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile) had customer service 24/7.
Also, the phone keeps asking if I want to update the time, like every hour! I called Cingular but there was nothing they could do. They said that it was because of the phone, not its service.
I have a friend who has Motorola V400, and he swears it is the best phone. I also have talked to several people @ Cingular, and they personaly use V400 or V600. So you may want to opt for these phones instead of T637.
